Newspapers publishing wrong photo of Jalaluddin Haqqani

Dear all,

Today in all national leading newspapers a photo was published on the main page of the Newspapers with a caption that �file photo shows Haqqani network founder Jalaluddin Haqqani, blamed for attack on US embassy in Kabul, with former US president Ronald Reagan in white house�.This picture is not of Jalal-ud-Din Haqqani, it is of Mohammad Yunus Khalis. This mistake is not done only by one newspaper but approximately done by all the newspapers of Pakistan.

It proved that we write a lot about Haqqani network but actually we are quite in the dark about it.

It could been a mistake but the fact remains that Reagan did host Taliban in the White House and declared them equivalents of American Founding Fathers.

There were NO Taliban when Reagan was the president ( 1980-1988). Taliban were created during the 2nd Benazir Bhutto government  around 1994.

actually there is a confusion. Haqqani and Yunus Khalis (late) have a deep resemblence. I think the question is not who is with Regan.....? Now what is our take on Haqqani or Afghan Taliban....? I fear another Halaku Khan style massacre is around the corner and "we are arguing whether the crow is Halal Or Haram?" In drawing rooms....like in Iraq.

What to stand against enemy. What are our strengths and weakneses....?
