Dear all,

Last night, an exclusive live interview of Malik Riaz was broadcasted on Dunya TV, hosted by Mehr Bokhari and Mubashir Lucman.

Our sources in Dunya TV have shared offline conversation in which it is clear it was just a planted interview to make the audience fool.

Before the interview, Abdul Qadir Gillani, son of PM Gillani, also called Mubashir Lucman on his cell phone and then Mubashir Lucman handovered his cell phone to Malik Riaz.

Mubashir asked Qaadir Gillani to advice Malik Riaz to let discuss role of Hamid Mir.

Reports are circulating on the internet in which both anchors are accused for getting bribes from Malik Riaz; such as: Salaami of 50 Lac Rs on Mehr's wedding with Kashif Abbasi.

Finally the curtain has fallen on the drama of Malik Riaz who was all out to malign the SC and itsCJ. This became possible to some extent bcoz of the exposure of the  behind the scene conversation of the SHAM interview conducted by Mehar Bukhari and Mubashar Lucman. Hats off to the person who exposed this dirty work. The rumours that some media people along with others being on the payroll of Malik Riaz have been proved by the media person themself. Is any elected body of media or journalists going to take action against these two culprits for betraying the trust of their viewers and bringing a bad name to all media persons.

Hats off to the person who exposed this dirty work. The rumours that some media people along with others being on the payroll of Malik Riaz have been proved by the media person themself.  The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists has expressed its grave concern over the allegations being leveled against some media persons and has demanded a high level inquiry into the whole affair. 

In a joint statement, PFUJ President Idrees Bakhtiar and Secretary General Rifat Qadri, said that the PFUJ has taken stock of the whole situation. It reviewed the allegations leveled in the past against some journalists and the recent ones. involving a business tycoon. It is of the view that the whole affair, the allegations and the lists of alleged beneficiary journalists taking round on the social media, the involvement of media owners in manipulating news and talk shows and the availability of huge discretionary and secret funds at the disposal of government functionaries, all call of a thorough inquiry. 

The PFUJ is of the view that in the past, the rulers had been talking of 'lifafa journalism', but whenever they were asked to disclose the names of the journalists, they backed out. It is good for all the past ruler, without any exception, that they had been blaming the journalists but were never coming out to expose the black sheep, as they all had been indulging in the same dirty practices. 

Now that the situation has further worsened and fingers are being pointed at many journalists, rightly or wrongly, it is high time that a high level judicial commission is appointed to probe into all the matters. Those blaming journalists for corruption should present their proofs to the commission, and the commission set its own terms of reference. It should probe into the use of secret funds, the building of empires by various media owners and once and for all set the things right. The PFUJ on its own will be looking into the matter and if any of its member is found involved in malpractices, his membership would be cancelled and the fact brought to public knowledge.

It is like a circle, surprisingly people are mostly targeting Mubashir Luqman, was he the only one? If one looks at the program objectively then both of them were at par and I believe the management and Malik Riaz had an equal opportunity.

Its time for the journalist community to be at least fair to one another and expose the black sheep in the society as we see media men talking to politicians between the lines. Are the common citizens the only people who are denied justice and access to information, why is everyone trying to play games with the citizens of Pakistan.

Let's hope the truth starts to flow and this is taken as an eye opener.

I had the audacity as was said to state that this whole affair is going to unfold as can of worms. The leaked video of the Dunya Tv interview of Riaz Malik with MB & ML has been taken strong exception off the off-air (off the record) or what can be called a spy documentary by not only the CJ but the full bench of SCP. The full court summoned the acting chairman of PEMRA askd him to provide the footage and and script of the infamous interview, which he did. No where in the world is off the record material taken on as what is being done here. Anyone with faint knowledge of live current affairs program know that before and in breaks all kinds of stuff is discussed as it is not a scripted content being aired, its very risky, so all around agrements are made, requests are made and everyone wants his point of view in and or out.

 

I say all those who were involved in this should be taken to task, obviously it was the camera men who let the camera roll even while they went on a break, so did they do it on their own, or the director current affairs gave them instructions , or the owners or the pay masters. we must find out what really happened, we all know Riaz malik credentials we are all shocked to know about CJ sons involvement and that is what is under investigation so that t can be established whether he was alone or is great father had given his blessing or not to make hay while the sun shines, as the common practice here.

The moments demand from us accountablity with in media persons, i believe for that the honest journalist from electronic media must should  come forward and unveil such a dubious characters who had earned millions from the land mafia, liquor mafia , from secret fund of ministry of information and are still on the pool of military establishment. Such characters have been destroting the image of pakistan by provinding cover to the wrong doings of corrupt elements. To justify such characters the so-called journalist like Mubashar Lucman, Meher Bokhari and other 20 included in the beneficiary list of Malik Riaz were there to criticise the independent judiciary which was indeed shamful. This time demands from us to be very honest and produce  ourself for accountablity in the court of law. I beleive if judiciary and media person gets united under the umberalla of zero tolerance against corruption , the corrupt politicians and corrupt civil and military establishment can never even think to loot and plunder the resources of 98 percent people who are living without electricity and are deprived from their fundamental rights and basic needs.on the other hand games to gain powers and money is going on among the few corrupts elements.

 

The 20 media person included in the list of beneficiaries of Malik Riaz and the the anchor persons must be brought to the justice. But the question arisest who will do this job. Since Supreme Court is party , Is any Judicial commission or NAB cabable to do so? i think past of NAB was very disappointing the culpritis invloved in money luandring and looting of national resources are these days ruler of  the country. on the other side the wave of revolution on pattern of Arab countries existed among the youth of Paksitan has started fadding after the Imran Khan was trapped in the propganda of military establishment which  very technically has inducted the redunded political player in his party and youth united at PTI platform has been disappointed  as a result the revolution stoped and the power belong to military establihsment couldnt be shaken.

 

Can we expect the young professional jouralists and the universities youth, young legal fertanity to unite at a platform where through a comprehenisive strategry may be adopted to get rid of all the balck sheeps and shabby characters in media , politics and other power houses.  The PFUJ and National Press Club who were the representative bodies of journalsits seems silent over recent devlopments which is alarming . this moment without caring the jouranlist brothery we must take action against such jouranlist who are corrupt and are included in the move againt Indpendetn Juidciary.

the skills needed to be a good reporter. An anchor needs to be someone who
has a deeper understanding and analysis of issues, can frame relevant and
pertinent questions, and is able to ask them in an appropriate manner during
the show. What has all that got to do with field experience as a journalist?

Our sources in Dunya TV have shared offline conversation in which it is clear it was just a planted interview to make the audience fool.

Before the interview, Abdul Qadir Gillani, son of PM Gillani, also called Mubashir Lucman on his cell phone and then Mubashir Lucman handovered his cell phone to Malik Riaz.

Mubashir asked Qaadir Gillani to advice Malik Riaz to let discuss role of Hamid Mir.

Reports are circulating on the internet in which both anchors are accused for getting bribes from Malik Riaz; such as: Salaami of 50 Lac Rs on Mehr's wedding with Kashif Abbasi.

Many thanks for defending me but I do not think Mr Mohsin's

'rubbishing' comment was directed against me. It came immediately after the observations of Mr S M K Durrani so I think the target was elsewhere. That is why

I said better to send him to Toba Take Singh. You must be familiar with the same name short story of Mr Sa'adat Hassan Manto on the partition. If you have not read it please

do it now and advice all your friends who take it upon themselves to fight for lost

causes of others as it is important that they know where Toba Take Singh is and what it  means.

In his memoir "Na mumkin ke justa jo", Mr Hamid Naseem talks about visiting the

mental hospital in the company of Faiz Saheb and meeting a well dressed, trimmed and

sparkling gentleman who complains that he had been interned for no reason. After

talking to them for half an hour or so normally and intelligently, he suddenly jumps 

up and starts circling the room reciting "kodi, kodi" with gusto. The incident shook 

both Mr Nasim as well as Faiz Saheb to realisation why the gentleman was living on the 'Number four route'. This was the number of Bus Service that connected Regal Chowk with Gulberg passing by the Mental Hospital. Whenever the temperatures rose in 

Lahore during June and July and someone behaved weirdly people use to say "Char Number Route".

But Mr Hamid Nasim says he and Faiz Saheb in such situations just  used one word "Kodi".

Reading the PressPakistan.com I often feel the whole of Pakistan has gone Kodi. Why

should we fight for AAZ or YRGilani, or Makhdooms here or there or the inmates of

Raiwand when we have our own problems to solve. If we have a difference of opinion

we can express that without parting with civil language or conduct.

I hope I made my point and you will not consider it a 'Kodi' too, although yesterday

and today were the hottest days of the  year in Canada. It touched 39c and heightened

the humidity too reminding me of my days in the Oil Gulf and Saudi Arabia.

You please check the comments of S.M.K Durrani in all topics... he is just trying to play with the minds of Pakistanis....
