امریکہ میں حکومت میں تبدیلی پالیسیوں میں تبدیلی کا باعث نہیں بنتی، نئی امریکی حکومت بھی ٹرمپ انتظامیہ کے فیصلوں کو آگے بڑھائے گی، پاکستان کی خارجہ پالیسی میں بہتری کیلئے تھنک ٹینک بنایا جائے،  ڈاکٹر رمیش کمار وانکوانی کا فیس بک لائیو سیشن میں اظہار خیال

اسلام آباد (7نومبر2020):  پاکستان ہندو کونسل کے سرپرست اعلیٰ اور ممبرقومی اسمبلی ڈاکٹر رمیش کمار وانکوانی نے کہا ہے کہ امریکہ میں حکومت کی تبدیلی کبھی پالیسیوں میں تبدیلی کا باعث نہیں بنا کرتی، انہوں نے فیس بک لائیو سیشن میں نئی امریکی حکومت کے عالمی منظرنامہ پر ممکنہ اثرات کے حوالے سے اپنے تبصرے میں کہا کہ امریکہ ہمیشہ اپنا ریاستی مفاد سامنے رکھتا ہے، امریکہ اپنے مفادات کے حصول کیلئے پالیسیوں میں ردوبدل کرتا ہے، ماضی کے دشمن امریکہ کے دوست بن جاتے ہیں اور دشمن دوست کا روپ دھار لیتے ہیں۔ڈاکٹر رمیش کمار کا کہنا تھا کہ دوسری جنگ عظیم کے وقت امریکہ اور سویت یونین مشترکہ دشمن ہٹلرکے نازی جرمنی کے خلاف نبزدآزماتھے، جنگ جیتنے کے بعدامریکہ کے مفادات بدل گئے اورماضی کے اتحادی ملک سویت یونین سے ہر محاذ پر ٹکراؤ ہونے لگا، امریکہ نے دوسری سپر پاور سویت یونین کو نیچا دکھانے کیلئے افغانستان میں ان عناصر کی حمایت شروع کردی جنہیں نائن الیون کے بعد دہشت گرد قرار دے دیا گیا، آج انیس سال بعد امریکی مفادات کا تقاضا ہے کہ افغانستان میں ان لوگوں کے ساتھ ہاتھ ملایا جائے جنکی حکومت امریکہ نے نائن الیون کے ردعمل میں بذورِ طاقت ختم کردی تھی۔ فیس بک لائیو سیشن کے دوران ڈاکٹر رمیش کمار نے اعتراف کیا کہ پاکستان اور امریکہ کے دوطرفہ تعلقات بھی نشیب و فراز کا شکار رہے ہیں، کبھی امریکی مفادات نے پاکستان کو فرنٹ لائن اسٹیٹ کا درجہ دے دیا اور کبھی ڈومور کے مطالبات ہوتے رہے۔ ڈاکٹر رمیش نے کہا کہ ٹرمپ حکومت نے چین اور ایران کے حوالے سے جو پالیسی اختیار کی ہے، اگلی امریکی حکومت بھی اسی کو لیکر چلے گی تاوقتیکہ امریکی مفادات میں تبدیلی ناگزیر نہ ہوجائے،ڈاکٹر رمیش کمار نے خدشہ ظاہر کیا کہ اگر پاکستان کی بارڈر کے پار امریکہ کوئی نئی مہم جوئی کرنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے تو لامحالہ طور پر پاکستان کو شدید دباؤ کا سامنا کرنا پڑسکتا ہے، سپرپاور امریکہ کی طرف سے حمایت کے مطالبات ماننے کی صورت میں ہماری ہمسایہ ممالک کے ساتھ دوستی بھی داؤ پر لگ سکتی ہے اور عوامی دباؤ وسیع پیمانے پر بے چینی کا باعث بن سکتا ہے۔ فیس بک لائیو سیشن کے دوران ڈاکٹر رمیش کمار نے امریکی انتخابات کے تناظر میں تجویز پیش کی کہ پاکستان اپنی خارجہ پالیسی کو بہتر بنانے کیلئے تمام سیاسی جماعتوں سے تعلق رکھنے والے سینیئر سیاست دانوں، خارجہ امور پر دسترس رکھنے والے ریٹائرڈ بیوروکریٹ اور سیکرٹری صاحبان پر مشتمل ایک ایسا تھینک ٹینک بنائے جسکے سامنے واحد ایجنڈا ہو کہ پاکستان میں چاہے کسی کی حکومت آئے، کوئی بھی وزیر اعظم بنے لیکن پاکستان کی خارجہ پالیسی صرف اور صرف پاکستان کے مفادات کا تحفظ کرے گی۔انہوں نے تمام سیاسی جماعتوں سے اپیل کی کہ پاکستان کی خارجہ پالیسی کسی خاص ملک یا شخصیت کی خوشنودی کیلئے نہیں بلکہ پاکستان کے ملکی مفادات کے تحفظ کیلئے ہونی چاہیے، پاکستان میں حکومت کی تبدیلی سے خارجہ پالیسی کو فرق نہیں پڑنا چاہیے۔

Change in US government never ever leads to a change in state policies: Dr Ramesh Vankwani

Facebook live session on US Presidential Elections held

ISLAMABAD (Nov 7, 2020): Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani has said that a change in the US government never ever leads to a change in state policies. Expressing his views during the Facebook live session on the US Presidential election, he said that the election process in the US is always of great interest for the people of Pakistan.

Dr Ramesh Vankwani was of the view that every US government used to focus on achieving national interests. “The change in national interests may result in modification of policies, according to the situation,” he emphasized. During World War II, the US and the Soviet Union were on one page to fight against Hitler's Nazi Germany. After winning the war, American interests were changed and confrontation with its former ally, the USSR, was started on all fronts. He said.

“Similarly, the tussle with the other superpower USSR during the cold war demanded the United States to support all those elements in Afghanistan who were later declared terrorists after the 9/11 attacks. Today after nineteen years of declaring war against terror, the United States is seeking cooperation with the Taliban, whose government was toppled by force as a reaction to the 9/11 tragedy,” he expressed.

Dr Ramesh Vankwani, while answering a question during the Facebook live session, admitted that bilateral ties between Pakistan and the US have also been in turmoil. “Following its interest, the US sometimes declared Pakistan a frontline state and sometimes demanded we 'do more',” he said.

Dr Ramesh Vankwani emphasized that Trump’s state policy towards China and Iran will be followed by the next US administration until there is a change in American interests. “If the US launches any new venture across our borders then Pakistan will certainly face severe pressure,” he said, adding that cordial ties with our neighbours could also be at stake if the US demands support.

On the occasion, Dr Ramesh made appeal to all political parties that our foreign policy should not be formulated to please any particular country or individual but should be for the protection of Pakistan's national interests. In this regard, he suggested that the government must establish a think tank consisting of senior politicians from all political parties, retired bureaucrats and secretaries who have strong grip on foreign affairs. “No matter, whoever becomes the Prime Minister, Pakistan's foreign policy must protect our national interests,” Dr Ramesh stated.
