Separate ISBNs

Note: I'm not running quite the newest version, so if this is already there, I apologize in advance, but I haven't seen it listed in new features emails.

For the Book Info page, can we specify different ISBNs for PDF, ePub, and Mobi? Each format should have its own ISBN, so it is a bit of a pain to switch back and forth each time we export.

hi ryan: 

1. there is room for ebook ISBN and print ISBN on the Book Info page, which has been there for years i think

2. the ebook ISBN gets added to ebook metadata, the print ISBN doesn't do anything

3. while strictly you should have a different ISBN for MOBI & EPUB, most publishers I know of just use 2 ISBNs: ebook + print ... not 3 (MOBI, EPUB, Print)

4. finally, you can add whatever you like in the copyright notice, usually something like:

"ISBN (print): 259827345092873450982"

"ISBN (ebook): 72349058720934578"

I should have been more clear. I am aware of the options for print vs electronic ISBN. I am attempting to separate PDF, ePub, and Kindle ISBNs. I could add them all to the copyright notice as you suggest, but I would still prefer to have them properly in the file's metadata, plus having them in PressBooks makes it easier to look them up again instead of having to keep a separate spreadsheet for them all.
