Hi I'd like to install your WP plugin, but I need some info:
1) can I have a book per each subdomain?
2) am I allowed to modify the theme so that I can add stuff like banners, disclaimers, etc...?
3) am I allowed to embed multimedia contents (YouTube, Tweets, etc...) in the chapters?

actualy works in that way. One book is one subdomain or subfolder.
you can edit a child theme, is better, but yes. You can edit the theme.
You can embedd multimedia content, but if you export to epub or pdf, you will see or the shortcode or nothing. It depen how you do.
