I wanted to do something fun and personal for our Juniper team for the holidays, and these monogrammed tote bags seemed like the perfect gift. They were fun, relatively simple, and they really are a gift that anyone can use and enjoy.
If you are willing to take a few extra steps, you can eliminate the bleeding and get nice, crisp lines! The secret to perfect lines is to seal the edge of the tape with whatever color is going UNDER the tape. Here, I am using this pretty blush color as my center stripe, so I used it to seal the edges of the center piece of tape. I sealed the edge of my outside tape lines with a cream color, to match the color of the rest of the bag. (This technique of sealing the edges works amazing for highly textured walls as well!)
Once the paint is completely dry, you can peel off your tape, and admire your beautiful stripes! (If there was still some bleeding, you can just go back in with your paint brush and touch up those spots!) The next step is stamping your bag. I monogrammed mine with the initials of each team member, but you could really do anything with this! The stamps I used were perfect because of the clear back, so I could see exactly where I was placing them. I just used a regular permanent ink pad, and then went back with a fine-tip marker to fill in any spots in the lettering that needed to be darker!
I switched up the ink color and letter placement just depending on the bag to give each of them a custom look. There is SO much more that you could do or add to these bags, but I love the simple look of the stripes and initials. The best part of these is that you can fill them with ANYTHING! The zippered top makes them the perfect bag, no matter the occasion! These would be so fun to do with your kids, a church group, or to give out as a sweet Valentines gift!

Jenni was a godsend when it came to the process of creating the perfect engagement ring. She was very clear and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. My fiance and I could not be happier with the final product. Amazing job... thank you, Jenni!
At first, I was a little intimidated by the center stone selection, but Jenni made the decision simple and approachable. She helped me understand my options with expertise, and implemented all of my requests in her designs. It was an absolute pleasure building the ring design and learning about materials, ethical sourcing, and seeing the ring take shape!
Jenni sat down with me a few months ago and helped me bring my dream wedding band to life. She took random Pinterest photos I had and random thoughts I burst out and created the coolest, prettiest ring that feels so ME. Such a delight to work with and I cannot recommend her services enough. Thank you Jenni!!!
I just received my wedding band on Saturday and it is exactly what I wanted. I love it so much and the design is so beautiful. I will definitely be having her help me with some more pieces in the future! I cannot recommend her enough. She was a dream to work with!
Jenni was so excited to help create a custom diamond ring out of the excess stones [from a pair of hoop earrings where one got lost]. She was so easy to work with - a real collaborative partner! Together, we came up with a solve for the ring (adding a few sapphires to complete the eternity band). It came out beautifully and I am so pleased.
In order to design a custom shadow box, it helps to understand how shadow boxes work. Essentially, the way a shadow box works is you stack many layers of cardstock on top of each other, with each layer having different elements cut out from the center of the cardstock. Then when you shine a light from behind the layers of cardstock, the light comes through the layers in varying degrees of brightness, creating a lovely 3D effect with depth and beauty.
Key concepts taught in this tutorial include how to use my shadow box template, how to identify Cricut Access images, how to weld, how to slice, how to change linetype, how to add spacers between layers, and how to light up your shadow box.
If you design your own shadow box, we all want to see it! Please share your photo in our Facebook group or tag me on social media with #jennifermaker . You can even earn two bonus entries for my 25-Day Gift-Away giveaway if you upload a photo of your version of this project by December 25th.

This step is exciting because Statice prints out your ring using a 3D printer and sends it to you! Once you approve it to be printed, you should receive it in a few days. I believe I got mine in the mail the next day!
Throughout the process, we exchanged around 90 emails back and forth to get my perfect custom ring. Any little changes I wanted, they made happen. Shelly was with me though most of the process and she was AMAZING. If you can, I highly recommend working with Shelly, although everyone at Statice was wonderful!

Measuring- Please use a soft cloth tape measure in centimeters, wear your normal breeches and riding socks. We find it helpful to ask a friend for help with this part.
Foot Size - Please convert your US foot size to EU using the chart shown.
Height Measurement - When measuring the height we ask that you have a slight bend in your leg and find the outside corner crease behind your knee. For reference, try to feel for the ligament behind your knee as your starting point of measurement. Follow your leg to the ground to find the calf height in cm.
Calf Measurement - When measuring the width of your calf we suggest you be sitting with your leg at a 90 degree angle. Find the widest point of your calf and measure with a subtle tension against your leg.
When measuring please note that measurements can be adjusted to create a custom and semi-custom fitted boot with additional charges. If you are finding that you are in between sizes please contact us to help guide you to the best fit.
WRAT Calfskin Leather - Remove dirt and sand with a damp cloth or towel, allow to dry completely then gently rub or buff the DeNiro nourishing cream into the leather in a circular motion.
BRUSHED Leather - Follow the WRAT leather cleaning directions being careful to use only the DeNiro boot gel ( Non - colored product ) and a soft cloth to complete the polishing process with circular motions lightly into the leather.
Boot storage and long term care - To keep the boots in excellent condition we recommend storing the boots in dry warm locations when not in use, boot trees to ensure the boot stays in the upright position and taking a soft brush ( tooth brush works well ) to the zipper to remove excess dirt.
