I have a Windows Home Server v1 with seven WD drives (variety of EURS, EARS and EARX). As all of these are advanced format drives i have always jumpered pins 7 and 8 to address the advanced format incompatibility of WHSv1.
I then connected them to a Windows 7 box to initialize them (MBR), before finally putting them in their final home, a Lian Li EX-50B that is connected via eSata to my Acer Easystore H340 Windows Home Server v1 box.
Jumper wires are awesome. Just a little bit of stranded core wire with a nice solid pin connector on either end. They have the flexibility of stranded wire but will fit directly into breadboards and female pin headers. These are 6 inch long, 26 AWG jumper wires with breadboard-friendly male connectors on both ends. Combine these with our female to female jumpers to create a male to female jumper. Multiple jumpers can be connected next to one another on a 0.1in header.
I have found two different spiders in my shower and both look almost like the Johnson Jumper except both of these have two dark green stripes running longways down the back. I killed the first one but have the second one in a jar at the House, and will get a picture of it and send it to you tomorrow.
The genus Phidippus is complex. In particular, for those species with reddish or orangish carapaces and/or abdomens, certain of the outward markings commonly used to distinguish between the species have been in dispute. Those disputes have, in some cases, raged for more than a century.
Arachnologists are, if anything, human. As a rule, human nature vigorously seeks firm conclusion to vexing questions. The quest to positively identify a spider under investigation to a particular species tends to make the investigator feel deeply inadequate when the quested goal is denied.
The arachnological community presently agrees that Phidippus mccooki is no more than a synonym. Still as David Edwin Hill informed me on 3 November 2020, the spider Mr. Stewart found in his shower in August of 2010 cannot be positively identified as a Cardinal Jumper, either. It may, instead, be a specimen of the species Phidippus pius.
This structure appears to be consistent with the 1883/1909 drawings made by the Peckhams of the P. mccooki male embolus, as presently published by Jerzy Proszynski. Again, however, this is not sufficient to positively identify to species.
Take a good look at the face of this spider. The arrangement of the eyes is clearly consistent with the genus Phidippus. Eyebrow tufts are present, too, though subdued in comparison with, say, the bold jumper, Phidippus audax.
Whats weird to me is that the red wire is on the C terminal instead of the R terminal with a jumper cable towards the R terminal is that weird? Nest compatibility said I need a wire on R when I mentioned I only have W, Y, G, C. When I say W, Y, G, R it accepts. How would I wire this to the nest now? Do I still put the red wire to C on the nest or just leave the C empty and put it on the R terminal instead?
The best way to find out if that Blue wire is in use is to look at the terminal block on the control board in the furnace/air handler. Chances are it is not connected to anything and you can use it to make a C wire by connecting it to the C terminals on both ends.

Bought an anchor to screw into the wall since the kit didnt come with one, its still not flush I'm thinking there is a stud behind so will need to buy a drill for it cause I cant turn the anchor in anymore with a screwdriver.
