Invitation to the Enactus NTU Advisory Panel

Hi Rick,

Thank you for taking time to meet us last week. It was a great session in exchanging our thoughts and ideas.

As spoken, we would like to extend our invitation to you into our upcoming Enactus NTU Advisory Panel, which would include our current Faculty Advisors, other NTU professors and external business professionals.

The purpose of forming this panel is to tap on the vast knowledge pool and experience of the panel members to provide guidance and feedback on the club's progress. We would also like to share with the panel the developments in our meaningful projects. There will be tentatively 1-2 formal reporting sessions by the Enactus NTU committee to the panel every semester.

It would be great if you could be part of this Advisory Panel given your experience in entrepreneurship programs.

Sorry for my late response.

 

I would very much like to join you in the Advisory Panel, but this has not been cleared by my superior.

 

Prof Hooi is supportive of Enactus’ activities, but is concerned about the potential conflict of interests.  He is of the opinion that we should not be associated officially with any student organisation, so as not to be seen as biased when we do work with the organisation.  He cited his own experience in stepping down as AIESEC advisor due to the same concern.

 

I hope you understand our position, and I remain open to help with any projects that I can provide useful inputs to, in an unofficial capacity.
