YSEP Program Updates - Important

Hi leaders,

Hope you had a great new year!

Some updates for the YSEP: The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) has gotten back to us regarding our project targets (to be achieved at end of YSEP program) and also some matters they need us to settle, as stated below.

1) I have attached the final project targets that MSF has sent to us. I think they have added in some additional targets considering the project funding that you guys will be receiving. Please see if you have any strong objections against any of the targets so that we can feedback to them asap. Do note that the time frame to achieve the targets is extended to 1 year from the start of the program.

2) Each project is required to inform your respective beneficiary organization about our involvement in the YSEP program and also agreeable to the targets set. I have drafted a sample for Brand with Love. Please follow the same format in creating your own agreement with the beneficiary.

Remember to draft your email in such way that this does not come across as a legally binding document (but rather as a requirement to obtain funding and consultation to deliver what's stated in the agreement). If your beneficiary cannot sign the physical copy, an email reply from their official email account will suffice too.

I have also attached the program package from Envisage to attach together with the agreement.

Lastly, if you have no objections to the targets set, please try to get your beneficiaries to sign/reply to the agreement latest by 10 Feb.

Dear President,

 

Gourmet Guru Limited will not be able to acheive the stated deliverables.

 

(1) Currently, we are pausing to rethink and reformulate our business approach and will be executing after our 'GG 2014 Kickoff' to our advisors and partners on 15th February 2014.

(2) We are also not going to focus on weekly cooking classes for the time being.

 

Proposed Deliverables

(1) Do a detailed research and plan on GGL's 4 Line of Businesses
(2) Conduct 3 Corporate Bonding Sessions
(3) Get 1 Contract Based Assignment (School)
(4) Create a professional looking website to increase awareness and sales
(5) Create a promotional video

Please let me know whether is this deliverables acceptable. Anyway,what is the final funding amount that Gourmet Guru will get?

Hi Abbas,

The original amount we proposed was based on what Gourmet Guru submitted to request for funding, which is $1,130 for purchase of new kitchen equipment. Do you guys still require this funding for this particular purpose? If not you guys can suggest new areas where you guys need funding. Also for the deliverables, it's best that you can put a certain time frame to it, eg. per year/per quarter/per month.

Once you guys finalize these things I will re-propose the budget (if there's any changes) and also the new deliverables to MSF for their decision.

Aside to the other leaders: You all can look through the previous budget too and see if there are any changes you wish to make.
