 'FAMILY PHF'.   This is a revolutionary initiative wherein the Rotarian and his family will enter into the Foundation Giving by their entire family members will become Paul Harris Fellow. 

 

Rotary High grounds under the able leadership of Rtn. Mahesh Gubbi has confirmed 15 Rotarians into FAMILY PHF club of givers. This is welcoming 15 Rotarians and 45 members of their families into PHF family.

PHF FAMILY

For the first time in the Rotary World, RI District 3190 under the dynamic and visionary leader District Governor Flt. Lt. K.P.Nagesh has created stunning and world record feats. Each of his initiatives is successful, out of the box thinking and revolutionary.

 

The Rotary Foundation ( TRF) is the back bone of Rotary International’s success story. Each year it is growing with larger funds and disbursements for various humanitarian and social relevant projects across the globe. The great work done by the Rotarians are well supported with the TRF funds and Rotary has been able to leverage to take up bigger projects. TRF needs continuous replenishments through giving, raising and endowments by Rotarians, patrons and friends of Rotary.

 

This year DG Nagesh has embarked upon a missionary zeal in raising a record Foundation giving of upward of US 2 million dollars. He needs support by all the Rotarians. Heeding to his clarion call the Rotary family of Dist. 3190 have given Major Donors in single and multiple levels. Meeting this target is challenging but it is very much possible. We are leading the Rotary World by becoming No. 1 in Membership Growth, New Club Chartering, addition of Rotaract and Interact Clubs, Women in Rotary .The other important and critical area for us to be India No.1 and also World No. 1 is Foundation Giving.

 

DG Nagesh has come with this innovative and very fulfilling giving by the Rotarian to the Foundation. This initiative is called ‘FAMILY PHF’

 

PHF FAMILY

 

This giving is based on a simple principle, wherein the entire family of the Rotarian will become PHF. That is Rotarian, Ann, Annets will become Paul Harris Fellow. In all 4 members of the Rotarian’s family will enter the PHF Honour. Some of the key and salient points for this are:

 

• Each member of the Rotarian’s family will become PHF( A total of 4 members) i.e. Rotarian, Ann and 2 Annets

• The Rotarian with his or her spouse will become PHF with points to their credit.

• The Annets will be nominated as PHF

• The benefits of giving is deductable under Income Tax 80G to the extent of Rs. 135,000/ or the  value of US $  2000/- on the day of transfer to TRF)

• A special Framed Certificate of Honour with the Family Photo will be given to the Rotarian as a token of appreciation by the District Governor. This framed potriat is specially designed and delivered and can occupy the Rotarian’s Home or Office with pride.

• In case of the Rotarian is already a PHF, still he can enter the Family PHF and the giving will reflect in points against his name in the TRF registery.

• This can be the beginning of him to become a Major Donor in the future as the points will be accumulated in his name at the Rotary International.

• The Rotarian can also nominate his entire family including parents, grand children etc under one FAMILY PHF. This act of giving on behalf of the family will bring joy and respect to all in the family.

• Who Can Give- Any one Rotarian, Friend of the Rotarian or Patron for the Rotary Club can be given the Title.

• Additional to the Framed Certificate, the Rotarian will receive PHF certificate and Lapel Pin from the TRF.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Income Tax benefits of complete US $2000/- value in Indian Rupees or approximately Rs.1,35,000/-

• The Rotarian has to give complete details of the family including a group photo they wish to be printed and framed along with the cheque
