Hey guys,

I'm really sorry to have dropped the ball on the book club recently. Those of you who see me regularly know that to say my first year of teaching was overwhelming would be an understatement. I didn't have a lot of bandwidth to be organizing any book club stuff. Although I have been reading the Jefferson book about a paragraph at a time before bed!

Anyway, I'm done with all that and I'm ready to get this thing moving again. I know a lot of people haven't started the book yet because they were waiting to know when the hell we were going to meet. Let's start that conversation now.

I made a form in google to survey where people are at and when they will be around. Please fill it out so I can make a doodle and find a time. I'd like to try to have one this summer, especially since Brian is moving to Chicago!!!!

So please fill out my survey and I'll put together a doodle by the weekend so we can get this figured out. Thanks everyone!!

Sunday, July 24 at 1:00. I'm sorry Chris and Hannah won't be able to come, but I wanted to do it then instead of September because, as I mentioned before, Brian is moving away and this will be his last book club meeting with us. I wanted to make sure we did it on a day he can attend.
