Just reminder on identifyinh 10 children for the Wish Tree Project.   We target 200 children for the Brunch Party on November 18 at 10.00am at Sunway Laggon Resort Hotel.The kids below 15 will have to write a short essay of 100-150 words on "My Wish".  Please confirm by November 7, 2012. We have about 200 Rotary spouses attending the Institute.

For clubs out-side Klang Valley  you may send the children's letters to PP Dr Bhaskaran who is assisting to receive the letters from the 50 children.

My Dear Friends

Thank you to those who have responded to the Rotary Wish Tree Project…granting a child a wish.  We still have space to accommodate 200 children for the function on Sunday November 18, 2012 at Sunway Resort Hotel from 9.00am to 1.00pm.  

We continue to seek your support to assist us by way of:

A. Volunteers to make 1000 origami paper cranes for the wish tree.

B. We are looking for 250 under-priviledged / deserving children to grant them their wish. Clubs may sponsor up to maximum 10 children each club from their charity-homes, schools and community.   Please note:

1. Children should be 15 years and below 
2. Each child is to write a short essay of between 100 – 150 words on topic "My Wish" . 
3. The children's wishes should be within reasonable request and co-ordinating clubs should assess the reasonability of the wish 
4. Co-ordinating clubs would be responsible to transport the children to and from Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel on Sunday, November 18, 2012. The program schedule is from 9.00am to 1.00pm. We will organise a brunch-party together with the Institute Spouses. 
5. We would like to extend this to all 73 clubs in our District. We will however have to limit the entries to 200 children from Klang Valley Clubs. 50 children from Clubs outside Klang Valley. Because of travel constraint, the 50 children need not attend the brunch-party but would be required to submit their essay with a paper crane before November 1, 2012.
6. The children's essays will be collected during the brunch-party and we will plan another occasion after reviewing the essays.

C. Sponsorship of soft toys (new please). We will have a booth to sell the toys as part of the project during the Institute .  Clubs need not sponsor to grant the child's wish however if so wish, you are most welcome to.

Please confirm asap your Club's co-ordination of the 10 children as we can only accommodate 200 children on Sunday and another 50 children from out-side Klang Valley.
