Dear Rotarians,

Thanks for your tremendous response and support towards our hosting of the District Awards & Handover Night 2012.  I am truly overwhelmed by your club's participation and would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks.

Just a few friendly reminders to take note of.

a)     Venue.

The venue for the event will be held at the Ballroom, Level 2, Hotel Grand Seasons, Jalan Pahang, KL. (opp the KL General Hospital). For those using Jalan Tun Abd Razak from Sg Besi heading towards PWTC, please turn left at Bulatan Jalan Pahang and for those heading towards SG. Besi turn right at the roundabout.

b)     Timing.

As you may be aware Grand Seasons, Jalan Pahang is located in a traffic prone area especially along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak therefore please plan early as cocktails will commence from 6.15pm and  we will begin the proper function at 7pm sharp due to the numerous awards and recognition to be handed out.

c)      Dress Code.

The dress code is formal.

d)     Booking & Payment.

The table booking has been made under the name of the club therefore identify yourself at the registration under the club name.

For those who have yet to pay please come early to settle your payment so as to avoid any unforeseen problems. We will not be accepting any bookings on the night itself as all tables have been allocated.

e)     Parking.

The hotel will charge a flat rate of RM 6.00 and please validate your ticket at the machine located at the foyer at level 2.

f)       Beverages & Corkage.

Beverages will be sold on the day and the prices are listed below;

1.       Whisky (Black Label or Glenfiddich) @ RM 5.00/peg or 1litre bottle @ RM 150.00

2.       Beer (Tiger or Carlsberg) @RM 5.00/can

3.       Red Wine @RM 5.00/glass or 1 bottle of 750ml @RM 70.00

4.       Can of Soft drink - RM 3.00

5.       Can Soda - RM 3.00

Corkage fee will be fixed at RM 50.00 for whisky and RM 30.00 for wine per bottle for outside drinks. Stickers will be pasted on all in house bottle drinks.
