Announcement from National Trust for Historic Places:
Apply for funding for Sacred Places in your community! Historic houses of worship across America play a crucial role in shaping the character of our communities. They are valuable parts of communities, and many are works of art whose beauty and history make them irreplaceable elements of our national cultural heritage. Yet though the structures are considered icons of stability, today congregations of every faith face challenges in stewarding their historic houses of worship.
Do you know of a sacred place in your community that could use financial support? Apply for a grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places today!
A program of @PartnersSacredPlaces in collaboration with @NationalTrustforHistoricPreservation made possible by the Lilly Endowment Inc., the National Fund for Sacred Places provides training, planning grants, technical assistance, capacity-building support, and capital grants up to $500,000 to community-serving historic houses of worship across America. Applications are due February 29. https://www.fundforsacredplaces.org/
