These sacred places often provide essential resources such as meals, education, cultural enrichment, and refuge. They exemplify the power places have to unite communities. From small rural churches to urban synagogues, these buildings serve as places of worship and sources of connection and inspiration. Together, we can preserve them for generations to come.       APPLY TODAY         Grant Details Since its inception, the National Fund has awarded $33 million to 168 congregations across 45 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico! Do you know of a sacred place in your community that could be part of this year’s cohort? Grants up to $500,000 available, providing: Training and planning grants Technical assistance Capacity-building support Capital grants Learn more about last year’s recipients who received a combined total of $8.73 million in grant funding to support not only their historic preservation efforts but also community engagement and enhanced fundraising. The National Fund is a program of Partners for Sacred Places in collaboration with the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
