The Kansas Historical Society assists cultural resources across the state through various financial incentive programs.  The following grant-assisted projects are seeking proposals, bids, or qualifications from consultants or contractors.  Please address all inquiries to the project contacts listed.

VINLAND - The Santa Fe Trail Historical Society of Douglas County is seeking bids for preservation work at the Vinland Grange Hall, 690 E 1719 Road in Vinland, KS. All inquiries about this Invitation to Bid and requests for copies of the full Scope of Work may be directed to Roger Boyd, Santa Fe Trail Historical Society if Douglas County Kansas, Inc., P.O. Box 379, Baldwin City, KS 66606 or rboyd...@gmail.com. Bids will be received on a total bid price basis and shall include a sum to cover the cost of all items of the contract, including insurance, and materials and performance bonds. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Vinland Grange Hall, 690 E 1719 Road, Vinland Kansas, at 2:00 pm on March 28, 2023. It is mandatory that all bidders be present. Attendance is required for acceptance of bids. Bids will be received until 4:30 p.m. on April 11, 2023.

TROY - The owner of the Sol Miller Building in downtown Troy, KS is seeking proposals from qualified design consultants to produce construction documents for proposed structural repairs to foundation, masonry walls, and full roof replacement.
