You are receiving this email because you have interacted with or requested information from the Douglas County Kansas Heritage Conservation Council.
The Heritage Conservation Council is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2023 Natural and Cultural Heritage Conservation Grant Program. Up to $210,000 in funding is available this year for natural and cultural conservation projects in Douglas County that secure the benefits of our heritage for present and future generations. For 2023, an additional $75,000 is available for projects that help inform Douglas County's development of an Open Space plan. Applications will be submitted online and are due by 5 p.m. on May 4.

If you are interested in learning more about the 2023 Natural and Cultural Heritage Conservation Grant Program, there will be an information session from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at the Lawrence Public Library in Meeting Room C. No registration is required. You are not required to attend to be eligible to apply for a grant.
