Good afternoon,

 

The following article and opportunity for development came to our attention today. I wanted to share it with as many people as possible who may have ideas for redevelopment of the historic Carnegie Library in Emporia, KS.  We have some information about the property including exterior photos and the National Register of Historic Places nomination at https://khri.kansasgis.org/index.cfm?in=111-1660-00023. Being Register-listed means adaptive reuse or rehabilitation of this property would be eligible for the 40% Kansas historic tax credit program as well as potential federal tax credits.
