Cooking Live fish in Thailand

Today I have seen a TV programme in which they have shown a fish being
cooked alive. The fish was taken out of a tank and straight the cook
started cooking half of the fish, the other half remaing as it is. It
was cooked on fire or oil as the patrons wanted it. The fish was
opening and closing its mouth with the pain and stress it was
undergoing. Then it was kept in a table and portions cut and people
started eating it happily enjoying it, saying it tastes
heavely.Anybody took any notice of the excruciating pain the fish was
undergoing?
Only man can do such cruelty to anybody else. And the greatest horror
of the scene was that all the people including some young girls
enjoyed the fish and were happy, cheerful , laughing and enjoying it.

I could not see the programme for long as the fish was opening and
closing with the pain of being cooked alive. It seems only half of
the
fish is cooked and the rest is raw and people eat in that condition.
Just imagine the excruciating pain and unimaginable stress this will
be causing the fish which is a fellow creature like the people who
ate
that. Had anyone thought about being put themselves in the place
where
the fish was and the horrible and harrowing experience it was
undergoing.
It was heartening to hear the news reader saying that there were some
protests against this eating among the people? at least some have got
some heart worth mentioning.
