to Preservation of Nature
The phenomenal rise in the price of petroleum and its products is a
blessing in disguise for the environment since it has a salutary
effect in making people go for less travel thereby reducing the
environmental pollution, carbon emission and global warming. The raise
in price also brings in a discipline in the behavior pattern of all
the people since the petroleum price increase has in turn increase the
prices of all the items, whether it is metal, food, fertilizer or any
other commodity under the sun to such an extent that many a factories
are unable to cope up with the rise in the price of inputs and are
restricting their production thereby reducing pollution.
Also there is now search for natural sources as fertilizers to augment
agricultural production and people search for natural alternatives to
suit their fields and crops instead of madly copying the others in the
use of fertilizers. Also there is now earnest interest in developing
natural alternatives for hydro carbons as more and more people come to
understand the delirious effect of petroleum and its derivatives.
