Prescott Church matters

Reminder: This coming Sunday, when Elaine Blanchard returns to our pulpit [yay!], is the deadline for the January Emergings. If you anything to communicate about activities in the coming weeks -- especially anything related to children, youth, worship, or our wrap-up activities as we prepare for the move to Shady Grove -- please be sure to email it to me or give it to me in writing by this Sunday morning.

 

Also note Saturday, Jan. 4 on your calendar if you haven't already. That morning from 10 to 11:30 or so, will be a time of orientation and fellowship at Shady Grove Presbyterian for Prescott folks. We'll receive a personal tour of the facility, located at the corner of Shady Grove Road and Yates. Pastor Jarad Bingham will show us how to make the coffee and where the keys are kept, etc. This occasion was arranged in response to a suggestion that arose during one of our recent congregational meetings. This will give us a head start when we process over there the first Sunday of February, and our two churches become one.

P.S. A little item: Please observe that Jarad Bingham spells his 1st name with two a's (not "Jared"). Several among us have been using that different spelling of the name, which is correct for some who bear it but not for Jarad Bingham. He hasn't mentioned it, but as a former English teacher I have no choice. :)
