So my 16 year old (dx'd at 23 months old, pumping at 4), T1D son just got his license & I let him drive to football camp (i.e. hell week which is all day football camp) & stay there ALL day by himself! This is a HUGE step for this OCD, anal retentive, over protective single mom... *SIGH* I never thought this day would come! He did beautifully :)
