Early Release On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

Dear Colleagues,

Christmas Day and New Year's Day fall on Sunday, 25 December 2022 and Sunday, 1 January 2023 respectively.

SPH Media employees working on the eve of Christmas (Saturday*, 24 December 2022) and New Year (Saturday*, 31 December 2022) will enjoy a half-day off or early release from 12.45 pm onwards. Employees assigned on a shift roster can be released after half a shift has been performed. This is subject to exigencies of service.

However, no employee shall be entitled to any payment or benefit in the event that he or she cannot be released because of exigencies of service. In addition, half-day leave taken on the eve of these public holidays will be treated as full-day leave.
