Change of Medical Insurance Provider /

Prudential Insurance Claims Submission Deadline

As part of our ongoing policy and benefits review, SPH Media has appointed Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) as our medical benefits insurance broker. After the latest review of the benefits currently provided by the Company; in particular the medical benefits, we have made enhancements to the inpatient benefits to make it more competitive in line with market practices. In addition to these enhancements, there will also be a change in the appointment of our medical insurance provider to Great Eastern (GE) from 1 January 2023.   

With this appointment of GE as our medical insurance provider, there will be changes to the panel of outpatient and specialist clinics available to employees. The Company has worked closely with MMB to minimise any possible disruption to the medical claims of our employees due to the changes. HR will be holding a series of briefings together with MMB in the coming weeks to update employees on the enhancements made, share more about the panel clinics and other changes that will take place with this switch to GE as our insurer in 2023. 

The m-Plify app/ portal will be available until 31 January 2023 to facilitate the submission of outpatient/ inpatient claims for visits incurred on or before 31 December 2022. If you submit any claims after 31 January 2023, please download the forms below and print a hardcopy and drop them off in the box at the reception.
