Pitty I cannot help the people as the explanations are quite simple to
their experiences. Maybe you have had similar experiences.
Tell me about it please.
"In 2001 het ek 'n prepaid elektrisiteits meter laat installeer. Om
krag te koop was wonderlik. Was maklik en kon enige tyd koop. Vanaf
Daar is al by verskeie kere verskillende
munisipale rekening per kredietkaart of debietkaart betaal. Tans is
Ek is raadop."

"bought R350 prepaid electricity from FNB cellphone banking. When I
used the token at my flat,it said that it had already been used.It did
accept the free token however.I called FNB to ask them for a refund or
a new token and they asked me to call Eskom.Eskom told me to call
Tshwane Municipality.They told me it's not a Municipality meter.When I
contact the company whose meter it is, they tell me to contact
Easipay.Easipay told me to contact FNB.FNB tells me they can't help me
as they are the middlemen. Was asked to again call Eskom. They didn't
help.Called FNB and spoke to "Sibusiso" who says his manager says they
can't help cos the matter needs to be "elevated".Told me to call
Eskom.Eskom said they won't help either, cos it's not an Eskom meter.
Left a complaint on the FNB site. They have not responded yet.My
question is: if it isn't an Eskom meter, but a private company's
meter, why did it go through on my FNB account when it asked for my
meter number and why did it accept the free basic token when I typed
in the codes but refused to accept the R350 token code? And how does
one possibly have this matter "elevated"? Please help."

"I HAVE BOUGHT ELECTRICITY VIA MY CELLPHONE AND WAS SURPRISED THAT I
ONLY GOT ABOUT 70 UNITS FOR R100.00 (HALF OF WHAT I SHOULD GET)
UPON ENQUIRING I HEARD THAT I AM BEING PENALISED R2.50 FOR EACH DAY
THAT I DO NOT BUY ELECTRICITY BECAUSE I AM A HIGH CONSUMPTION
CONSUMER.
I AM PAYING FOR EACH UNIT THAT I AM USING, SO WHY PENALISE ME, AND TO
THAT EXTENT!!"
