Search results for this question contain nothing but arguments for and against. Please take those up in another forum. I want to know is there an option, extension or hack to disable private browsing mode in each of the following browsers?

Private browsing is all the rage with browsers these days. Once you go into private browsing mode, you can traverse the internet without leaving a trail. Your history? Deleted. Your cookies? Destroyed. Your bookmarks and non-private history? Preserved for when you come back to the surface.

Internet browsers are the first step to accessing the internet. They are also the first step to both increasing your online privacy and controlling your personal information. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari all provide in-browser privacy settings for users. These options include private browsing, controlling activity logs, deleting cookies, and others.

This wikiHow teaches you how to disable the "Private" or "Incognito" feature for certain browsers. As of April 2017, the only browser that natively supports disabling private browsing is Safari iOS, though there is a plugin one can install to limit private browsing in Firefox and you can use the Group Policy Editor to disable Incognito and InPrivate browsing in Chrome and Microsoft Edge, respectively. The second Chrome method works for Windows 10 Home Edition, whereas the first method may not.

Like other browsers, Firefox warns users that private browsing is no cure-all for privacy ills but is limited in what it blocks from being saved during a session. "While this doesn't make you anonymous to websites or your internet service provider, it makes it easier to keep what you do online private from anyone else who uses this computer," the caution reads.

It also eliminates any cache cookies behavior. More on using extensions with Chrome on the Google Web Store Help site.)

The majority of private browsers will not hide your IP address. However, the TOR browser (The Onion Router), does hide your IP address by routing your internet connection through a network of servers, allowing for anonymous and private browsing sessions.
