Hey, I'll be honest I'm a guy who mostly play games for their story, I like to read and I like to completely immerse myself inside a game world. The combat for me has been boring, whether I win or lose, I don't think I'm bad at it since I mostly win on normal but I tire of having to do fights to get to the next part of the story, especially with wars, the auto resolve has too many casualties yet it's annoying having to lead the fights myself all the time.I wonder if there is a mod or maybe a cheat to skip through combat as I really want to love the game but the combat bores me.
In the beginning of this mode, you choose six Heroes from all characters available (in each game), then pit them against overwhelming enemies: dredge, horseborn, bandits, varl and Warped. Earn Renown and an item with each victory, unlock heroes to replace those who fall in battle, and upgrade the veterans who stay alive.
