i have already configured modelcheck settings in creo 3.0 and also i was working on it, accidently my liscence lost occoured and i reinstall creo 3.0 but after that model check is not working with creo, i have also placed config file in the defined location but still its not working, plese help to find out the solution...

It shows how 7 different squads in a tribe see their own situation. Color is current state (green = good, yellow = some problems, red = really bad). Arrow is the trend (is this generally improving or getting worse?).

Note that this is a self-assessment model, all based on the honesty and subjective opinions of the people in the squads. So it only works in a high-trust environment, where people trust their managers and colleagues to act in their best interest. The data is easy to game, so the key is to make sure there is no incentive to do so.

Yes, this is subjective data. In theory the squad may choose to involve hard data (cycle time, defect count, velocity, etc), but few do so. Because, even with hard data, the squad needs to interpret the data and decide if it means we have a problem or not. So at the end of the day, everything is subjective anyway. If something feels like a problem, that in itself is a problem.

We make sure the questions are about the environment in which the squad operates, and not about hard output (such as velocity). That makes the survey less threatening, and reinforces the notion that the survey is about support and improvement, not judgement.

You could try model info->statistics->purge unused. That will reduce file size if you have some excess baggage in the file. Might or might not reduce it enough to post without using a sharing service.

There are a lot of variants on the 18MM SHEET JUST FACES (indicated by suffix #1, etc.), but they all appear to be identical on a first look. You would reduce file size and reap the benefits of components if these were all copies of the same single component (unless, of course, there is some good reason they need to be unique).

Choose the style in the Styles panel, click the edit tab, then click the second icon from the left. Edit items there as appropriate. Then update the style. We are both using Mac, so this image should match what you see:

You can always open a component for edit and either completely delete unneeded stuff (e.g. interior parts of a refrigerator whose door will always be closed) or redraw it more simply. There are extension such as Skimp (not free) that attempt to automatically simplify a model.

Another completely different approach is to work with proxy components while building your model and only swap in the detailed ones when readying for final renders. There are also extensions that make this process easier.

Please note that your download may take a few moments as we gather and output your selected resources.
Additionally, some browsers may prevent the download, so please check your settings accordingly.

My Tenlog Hands 2 dual independent extruder 3d printer has a faulty extruder 1, so I want to try printing with only extruder 2 and I disabled extruder 1. However, now I get the following error message in Cura 4.11.0 on my MacBook Air running MacOS Big Sur 11.5.2:

1. The model definitely fits well within the build volume, as it is only about 10cm x 8 cm x 5 cm and the build volume is over double that in every direction and there are no outlying or widely spaced structures.

2. How do I assign or unassign a model to an extruder? I don't recall having assigned the model to any extruder, but with extruder 1 enabled, it slices and with it disabled and extruder 2 enabled, it won't slice.

Both extruders are set to use generic PLA and the printer ran with PLA on 1 and PVA on 2 before the failure. Extruder 1 goes through the motions, but can't actually feed filament into the bowden tube, although it does try. Its internal LED doesn't even come on, so clearly something is wrong with it.

Yes, I should fix the failure, but here in Alaska, parts often take a week extra to get, I need to print today, my other printers are too small for this model and nobody else in town is doing 3-D printing commercially, as far as the local filament wholesaler/retailer knows.

In this image I have disabled Extruder 1 AFTER bringing the model into Cura. So the model is now set to a disabled Extruder. The funky cross-hatch pattern on the part indicates it won't slice. Selecting the circled 2 on the left will set the model to extruder 2.

If that worked (it did on a single front wheel) then go to the Mesh Fixes settings and enable "Remove all Holes". Hopefully it will slice. This is without touching up the settings. It still needs a lot of work.

When I sliced that front wheel I see that there is Support structure within the interior of the wheel, but not everywhere. That is odd. Since I had turned on "Remove all Holes" (yes, you have to remember to turn it off) there must still be gaps in the model.

Hi everyone, new around here, and have spent probably an hour researching an issue I'm having that's related to this post. I originally had a solid model, but it was taking way too long to print, so I tried to hollow out my model by building it from individual shapes instead of starting from one larger shape that was solid. I have a feeling I've introduced an issue with overlapping sides. I'm getting the same error as the original post. Would someone be willing to take a look at this file and give me some guidance? I'm totally stuck w/out going back to the solid model, which I'd prefer not do.

Click on the model in Cura and then select "Per Model Settings" and set the model to "Normal Model". Right now it's the only thing on the build plate and you have it set to "Modify Settings for Overlaps".

I noticed your base plate doesn't have the same boundaries set as mine. Could it also be that I need to scale the size down further? I originally planned on 225 MM, but it didn't like that. Anything else here jumping off the page at you?

So change the "Skirt Line Count" to 1, and change the "Skirt Distance" to 2 or 3. If it still doesn't slice you will need to rotate the model 90 because the Disallowed Areas are only in the front and rear meaning you have more room side to side.

Oh my gosh! It worked! I had been trying to switch to the Ender 3 Pro, but that wasn't working either for some reason. I tried your suggestion of rotating 90 degrees, and no problem! Wow, thank you so much for the help.

When you start getting comfortable with Cura you can go to the definitions folder and open up your definition file in a text editor like MS Notepad and take a look. It's something you're going to want to know how do to later on. I've customized my definition file for things like the Skirt Height which I much prefer at "1" rather than the default of "3". You could remove the disallowed areas if you are brave. Be careful because if there is a typo then Cura won't load the file and the horrible "Your setup is corrupt - do you want to reset" comes up and you can wipe out all your printers, profiles, and other personal touches.

With the release of gpt-3.5-turbo, some of our models are now being continually updated. gpt-3.5-turbo, gpt-4, and gpt-4-32k point to the latest model version. You can verify this by looking at the response object after sending a ChatCompletion request. The response will include the specific model version used (e.g. gpt-3.5-turbo-0613).

We also offer static model versions that developers can continue using for at least three months after an updated model has been introduced. With the new cadence of model updates, we are also giving people the ability to contribute evals to help us improve the model for different use cases. If you are interested, check out the OpenAI Evals repository.

The following models are the temporary snapshots, we will announce their deprecation dates once updated versions are available. If you want to use the latest model version, use the standard model names like gpt-4 or gpt-3.5-turbo.

Finally, you can distinguish models by max_tokens. Set max_tokens above 4100 to then be denied on gpt-4-turbo models (or huge but below your rate limit for denial everywhere). An error message gives more details.

I try to avoid overfitting in all the ways I can think of and the mean output of nested cross-validation is r2 0.88, I'm not sure if I can trust this or if there are other ways I can see if this is overfitting. The output r2 on just training and testing non-nested is: Train r2: 0.971 Test r2: 0.868.

The only other area I'm aware of that I haven't really explored is projection techniques. I am not sure which method would be best for this (my features are all numeric but mixed continuous or discrete data types) such as between UMAP, PCA or partial least squares.

I have also more manually removed some minority example genes before training (e.g. removed training genes with a 0.9 score which make up only about 1/8 of the training dataset) to give the trained model to predict and view how the model generalises to this 'new' hard to predict genes - gives them a 0.6-0.7 score when they are actually 0.9:

I think I've misused classification here (and removed tag accordingly), I use regression models and I don't have labels and only continuous scores so I don't get true positives, false positives etc. to be able to do ROC. I'm not sure what other metrics are good or better than R2 for regression that I can use.

I have tried applying imputation to compare other models (random forest, SVM, and logistic rgeression with elasticnet or lasso), all models perform notably lower than gradient boosting (0.59 average nested r2 is the highest with random forest) - but I was originally concerned with biased data from imputation, is imputation worth doing to counteract overfitting?

I have a biology background, so not sure about best practices for machine learning, but from this I'm suspecting random forest is better and I should be trying to do a better parameter tuning than I currently do for it, and trusting that model's result on nested CV. Is this the best approach?
