There are six House of the Dead games originating in a first-person light gun rail shooter format. The main series all have common traits including special agents pairing up to take on hordes of biologically engineered undead (referred to as 'creatures' in the wider series and as 'mutants' in Overkill). The games are divided into chapters, each of which culminates in a boss battle against usually massive, terrifying creatures. The bosses in the first four games as well as the sixth are all named after the Major Arcana of occult tarot.
On December 18, 1998,[2] the insane and disillusioned Dr. Curien plans to mobilize his armies of undead against the unsuspecting populace. AMS agents Thomas Rogan and "G" are dispatched to his mansion to stop Curien's evil plan and rescue Rogan's future wife, Sophie Richards.
On February 26, 2000,[2] business magnate and scientist Caleb Goldman reveals himself to be the mastermind of the 1998 Curien Mansion case and claims responsibility. Goldman initiates an undead outbreak on an unnamed Italian city while his "Emperor" project develops. Two AMS agents named James Taylor and Gary Stewart are sent in order to stop Goldman.
In the post-apocalyptic world of 2019, Thomas Rogan and his team of commandos infiltrate the EFI Research Facility in hopes of finding the source of the planet's collapse. Losing contact with him, his daughter, Lisa Rogan, and his former partner, "G", set out on a search and recover mission, unaware that what awaits them has ties to the distant past and the very genesis of the undead horde. Daniel Curien, son of the late Dr. Curien, later teams up with Lisa to help complete the rest of the mission.
In the year 2003, veteran AMS agent James Taylor (from The House of the Dead 2) and newcomer Kate Green are investigating the Goldman Incident of 2000. Following a sudden earthquake, they are shocked to discover that the undead from three years prior have returned, seemingly unharmed, and locked in a lab, but they soon break out and wreak havoc once again. Intent on preventing a nuclear disaster, they must once again cross paths with the seemingly deceased Goldman.
Arriving at Isla del Morte, they find the rave site messed up and deserted. Alicia, Karma and Simon leave the site to go find anybody around while Cynthia and Greg stay behind. As Greg and Cynthia are about to engage in sex in a tent, the former leaves to urinate. Alone in the tent, Cynthia is killed by a group of zombies. Meanwhile, Alicia, Karma and Simon find a derelict house and as they attempt to investigate the place, they discover Alicia's ex-boyfriend Rudy, Liberty and Hugh, who inform them of a zombie attack during the rave. The six leave the house to fetch Greg and Cynthia. Meanwhile, the zombies kill Salish when he is alone in the forest.
Kirk reveals the island's history; Isla del Morte was home to Castillo Sermano, a Spanish Catholic priest that was banished from Spain in the 15th century for his dark experiments, which the Catholic Church forbade. Castillo murdered the crew of St. Cristobal, the ship that was taking him to the island, enslaved the island's natives, and murdered anyone who visited the place. He then created an immortality serum which he injected himself with, allowing him to live forever and return dead souls to life and support his cause. Kirk leads the group to a spot in the forest where he has hidden a box full of guns and weaponry. Once everyone is armed, they decide to head back to the house only to find the courtyard filled with zombies. Liberty and Casper are killed in the ensuing fight and Alicia, Rudy, Kirk, Karma and Simon manage to take shelter inside the house.
When Kirk is alone, he hears Salish whistling outside. He goes outside and sees Salish now zombified. Kirk sacrifices himself by killing Salish and a bunch of zombies with a stick of dynamite, but the explosion also blows up the entrance to the house. The remaining four lock themselves in a lab inside the house, but the zombies break in. Karma finds a hatch in the floor which she, Alicia and Rudy use to escape. Simon sacrifices himself to kill the zombies by shooting a barrel of gunpowder, blowing up the house and the zombies. Alicia, Rudy and Karma find themselves in tunnels. They make their way through the tunnels, but Karma is killed by zombies as she attempts to hold them off as Rudy and Alicia flee.

Jack and Ianto return to the upstairs floor of the pub to find Wintergreen and the visitors joining hands in a circle to contact the dead. Wintergreen mentions that Barry's wife Helen has joined them, as has the brother of a woman named Ness, Tony. She also asks Ianto Jones to come forward, saying his father has returned and has accused him of a betrayal, which upsets him greatly and causes both him and Jack to interrupt the seance by shaking Mrs Wintergreen out of her trance. Jack makes Wintergreen aware of the danger she is creating by reaching out to Syriath, but Wintergreen is actually pleased to know someone is granting them audience with their lost loved ones, wishing to speak to her.
Barry hopes to ease tensions by reopening the bar for the night. After noticing the coffee machine isn't working, he thinks that ones of his workers, Tim, has probably resigned without notice for the third time that week. He goes off to change the barrels in the wine cellar, but is disturbed by a series of crashing noises caused by shattering glass. He hears the voice of his dead wife Helen speaking to him, who admits she has accidentally knocked over the glasses due to her paranormal influence. Barry simply commits to cleaning them up later and comments she hasn't changed, while Helen remarks he has put on weight, which looks good on him. He embraces her to find that she is cold to the touch, a side effect of her lifeless state. They kiss and she asks him to have a drink for old times' sake, although Barry stopped drinking following Helen's passing. Helen says that she is hungry after being dead for so long. At this moment, it is revealed Helen is not who she appears to be and a cacophony of shattering glasses fills the room, while Barry screams in terror.
Against the wishes of Jack and Ianto, Wintergreen carries out her seance and contacts Syriath. The sounds of a crying baby become audible. Wintergreen's enthusiasm toward the return of her baby convinces her to let Syriath come forth, who then instantly turns against her and possesses the psychic. Syriath reveals to the patrons that someone in the House of the Dead means everyone great harm. She accuses Jack of wanting to kill everyone in the bar. As the patrons approach him aggressively, he orders them back and pulls a box out of his greatcoat, then demands every patron must leave. The group exits the pub, leaving only Wintergreen, Jack and Ianto. Gwen asks Ianto if Jack has gone mad, informing him he should not trust the man. Syriath retreats for the moment and lets go of Wintergreen. She tells the men Syriath is reconnecting her to a child she lost after a complicated birth and must go to him. Wintergreen begins singing a lullaby of "You are my Sunshine" to her son and loses herself to the dead world.
Police received a report Wednesday that the man later identified as Labonte had left a dead fish on the porch of the Goonies house in the upper town neighborhood of Astoria, according to Astoria police chief Stacy Kelly.
The act was caught on surveillance video, which the homeowner shared with KGW. Labonte is seen walking up, leaving the fish, taking video with his phone. He appears to have posted video of the incident to Facebook. Police said he also put stickers on the security camera lenses outside the house, and later returned and removed the fish.
More recently, the house was listed for sale and eventually purchased for just over $1.65 million by Behman Zakeri, who came forward publicly after the sale and declared that he was a fan of the film and wanted to preserve the landmark.
The centrepiece of Coldwind Farm, the Farmhouse, stood proudly over the fields of golden corn for decades. After the horrific events of 1972, the building fell into disrepair and eventual ruin. The Farmhouse is now nothing more than a forgotten, former home where holidays were once celebrated.

Probate is essentially the court-supervised act of paying debts, closing accounts, and distributing the assets and belongings of an individual after their death. Generally speaking, assets such as real estate will either switch ownership to a beneficiary or be sold to pay for any debts.
