As a preeminent modern virtuoso, U.K. guitar master Guthrie Govan dazzles all who hear his playing and experience his artistry. Charvel worked meticulously with Govan on the development of his signature lineup to create superior guitars in distinctive Charvel form.

Harkening back to the late '80s when Charvel guitars were manufactured exclusively in Japan, we proudly introduce the all-new Guthrie Govan Signature MJ San Dimas SD24 CM. Exquisite in style, this MJ signature model blends Charvel's unparalleled legacy of designing high-performance instruments with an assortment of Govan's preferred top-end features.

This 25.5" scale guitar features a San Dimas basswood body with an ash top and specially contoured heel (sans neck plate) for easy access to the upper reaches of the fingerboard. The bolt-on maple neck has a "caramelized" heat and drying treatment that makes it sound and feel much older, along with graphite reinforcement, satin finish on the back of the neck and a conveniently located heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel. Most unusually for a San Dimas model, the 12"-16" compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard features 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets, as well as crme dot inlays and Luminlay side dots.

Other premium features include three specially wound Charvel custom pickups arranged in a versatile HSH configuration with five-way switching for the expansive tonal openness and dynamic sensitivity that Govan demands, along with a two-way mini toggle switch to engage single-coil simulation in bridge and neck humbucker positions. This instrument also comes loaded with two Luminlay numbered dome control knobs for volume and tone, recessed Charvel locking tremolo bridge with pop-in tremolo arm and brass block, Gotoh die-cast locking tuners and Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut.

The Guthrie Govan Signature MJ San Dimas SD24 CM is available in a stately Three-Tone Sunburst finish, complete with chrome hardware, brown pickup bobbins and a licensed Fender Stratocaster headstock.

Offering many of the blazing features as its more expensive brethren, this axe features a basswood body with special "comfort cut" forearm contour for maximum playing ease, along with attractive masked-off natural body binding and an elegant quilt maple top. Its bolt-on baked maple neck with graphite-reinforcement rods holds strong against the ravages of temperature and humidity, while a conveniently located spoke wheel at the base of the neck makes for quick and painless truss rod adjustments. Designed for comfortable playability and speed, the Wolfgang WG Standard also features a smooth oiled finish on the back of the neck and a 12"-16" compound radius baked maple fingerboard with rolled edges, 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays.

Dual EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickups mounted directly to the body increase vibration transfer, resulting in sustain for days on end. The black knurled tone and volume control knobs have been dialed-in to Van Halen's exacting specifications - the smooth-feeling 500k pots make it easy to find a unique sound while retaining the crisp high-end sparkle of the Wolfgang pickups. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose Special bridge and R2 locking nut consistently keep the instrument in tune through the deepest whammy dives and horse whinnies.

Tested live onstage where it counts, the Wolfgang WG Standard QM is decked out for playing performance and comfort, and available in an array of stage-stealing finishes with black headstocks and black chrome hardware.

Eddie Van Halen was the first player to popularize the innovative Floyd Rose locking tremolo, even advising Floyd Rose on his early designs to integrate round disc finger-type tuners that you would see on a cello or violin. Now universally embraced, our EVH-branded Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo features our EVH logo stamped on the bridge plate, zinc alloy saddles and a zinc alloy sustain block. The double-locking design allows you to lock your guitar in tune at the R2 (41.8 mm) nut and at the bridge, resulting in excellent tuning stability and sustain throughout your most aggressive pull-ups and dive bombs.

What makes a Paoletti guitar unique is the careful selection and use of aged chestnut wood, preserved and reclaimed from our old wine barrels. The vibrations that a chestnut body generates is one of a kind in frequency, harmony, and offers tonal sustain across the full harmonic spectrum.

A vintage-inspired Parlor guitar, Florence sings an intimate, bright tone to make all your nostalgia dreams come true. Florence features a solid spruce top, a 3-tone sunburst finish, and a classic lightweight body made to play anywhere inspiration strikes.

Florence - Parlor
Setup was really decent. For the price, you won't find anything even remotely close to this ready to go out of the box. Even some more expensive guitars need an initial setup from a lot of these mass production brands.
The strings that come with it are kind of hard, but they have a really unique dirty sound with how I play. When they got old I replaced them with some Martin & CO. 92/8 Phosphor Bronze lights, which remind me of Metallica for some reason, but sound good and are easier to play.
I don't know a lot about guitars but this is exactly the type of sound I wanted. It doesn't have all the super fancy stuff, but it works perfect for my needs. I beat the crap out of it hammering chords and slide strumming with my fingernail to make sitar sounds. I'm self taught so I have no idea what I'm doing, but I love it.
I let a parlor guitar expert, someone who made a full parlor guitar album using different guitars for each song play this guitar, and he absolutely loved it. Then he freaked out when he heard about the price.
This is a special piece of equipment. I'd suggest you get it if you want something that's its own thing with its own character.

Dan Erlewine: Here's a Stratocaster with the 1950s, two-tone Sunburst on it. Later on they came out with a red in it that was a three tone, but a lot of us just loved this original two-tone burst, which is an amber yellow base coat and a very dark brown Sunburst. It's not black. Fender called this Dark Salem Maple. This is my own strat. In 1992 when I was doing a Guitar Player magazine interview with Albert Collins, the great blues player and a hero of mine, he signed it for me at a concert. So it's really special to me.
