Yesweapons with higher damage are better than weapons with lower damage when you are fighting radroaches or raiders. However, the legendary and rare weapons can be sold for a MUCH higher price. So they are worth more, but that doesn't mean that they are better as far as damage goes.

If you have two weapons, one with 7 damage and one with 6-8 damage. I normally take the 7 damage, as the damage is constant. The chance for dealing 8 damage is as high as the chance to get a low damage of 6.

Just sell your smaller weapons right a way. Give everyone the best weapons you have. Maybe hold 1-2 in your stock in case you get new dwellers. Everything else which is under your "current weapon standard" can be sold right away to save space in your stocks.

The Fat Man Series of weapons damage all attackers in a room. I haven't had that experience with the Fat Man in my own vault, but the MIRV will do up to 27 points of damage to all attackers in a room when on quest.

Some of the most unique, funny and amazing guns, melee weapons and swords can be found within Fallout 4, but it's definitely not always straightforward how to get your hands on these powerful and rare pieces of firepower. You can survive the Commonwealth with the simplest of weapons, or you can choose to blast your enemies with Nuka-Cola-charged mini-nukes, because why not?

Fallout 4's legendary weapons are often somewhat niche, bizarre, yet most of all incredibly powerful. If you're returning to Fallout 4 now to live out the nostalgia, finding every rare weapon might be one your goals. Moreover, they all definitely change the way you can strategically fight your enemies. Here's where to find these rare Fallout 4 weapons.

Updated June 14, 2024, by Zackary Wiggs: Fallout 4 is still here for you to dive into. With the popularity of the Fallout series and with Fallout 76 gaining more and more players, there's never a better time to hop back into the single-player adventure to the post-apocalyptic Commonwealth. But, you'll need some pretty snazzy weaponry if you want to reach the highest levels as the Sole Survivor. Luckily, Fallout 4 has quite a unique arsenal for you to choose from. You just may need to do some work to get them.

Return here to retrieve the weapon once you have master lockpicking skill levels. It shoots out cryo-energy much like a flamethrower throws out fire, and freezes enemies in their place. The Cryolator does 20 damage which makes it devastating early on in the game.

This is a reward for a side quest you happen upon if you visit the Third Rail bar in Goodneighbor. Working for the Cabot family, you eventually discover their secret to immortality and have to end a crazed father attached to an ancient artifact to save the rest of the family.

A week in the game goes by, and the son will let you know he has a unique and rare weapon for you based on the artifact. It deals 28 damage using gamma rounds, which is a fairly good rate compared to other radiation-damage-based weapons.

Start at Oberland Station, and head northeast until you find the crashed ship. Follow a trail to find the alien and a unique Fallout 4 weapon: the Alien Blaster Pistol. It deals 63 damage but uses rare AB rounds, so use it sparingly.

Unique weapons are nothing new in video games. That said, some games offer better unique weapons than others. Fallout 4 is one of those games that has fantastic, unique weapons. From rare energy weapons to one-of-a-kind submachine guns, there are lots of great weapons hidden all over the ruins of post-nuclear Boston just waiting to be found.

Some secret weapons are pretty easy to find, while others are hidden away in hard-to-reach areas. Either way, most avid Fallout 4 fans will have collected almost every rare weapon in the game. For those that haven't, there are some rare weapons that are worth getting as early as possible due to how useful and fun they are to use.

The Kiloton Radium Rifle was brought into the game with the Far Harbor DLC. While Fallout 4 didn't have the best Radium weapons when compared to other Fallout games, the Kiloton Radium Rifle changed that. This submachine gun can be acquired very easily. However, there are still players out there who don't know about its existence. To get it, all the player needs to do is buy it from Brother Kane in the Nucleus. This can only be done after the player joins the Children of Atom.

The weapon itself is very powerful. It deals a decent amount of damage, it deals explosive damage, and it deals radiation damage. This is a very overpowered weapon, and it can take down most enemies in the game with ease.

The Last Minute is a type of Gauss Rifle. While it isn't the fastest-firing weapon in the game, it more than makes up for it with the amount of damage it does. This weapon deals 50% more limb damage. While this may not sound too crazy, it can cripple enemy bosses with just one well-placed hit. Like all Gauss Rifles, The Last Minute already does high damage as its standard. So, by adding the extra limb damage, this weapon becomes a must-have gun.

Obtaining this weapon requires a little bit of work from the player. The player will need to complete several main quests for the Minutemen. Once the player completes the quest "Old Guns," the weapon can be purchased from Ronnie Shaw at the Castle.

There are a few places where players can get hold of a Power Fist. However, there is one variant that stands head and shoulders above the rest: the Furious Power Fist. The Furious effect allows weapons to do more damage with each successive hit on the same enemy. This can be incredibly powerful when used against boss enemies, as the increase in damage goes up very fast when the enemy can take a bunch of hits.

Getting this weapon involves taking on a tough boss, especially for lower-level players. To get the Furious Power Fist, players will need to head to Swan's Pond, which is close to Diamond City. Once there, players will notice something lurking in the water. A large Super Mutant Behemoth named Swan will emerge, and they will need to take him down. Once Swan has been taken care of, his body can be looted for the Furious Power Fist.

This gun is a highly customizable unique weapon that players can get their hands on pretty easily. The main issue with getting this weapon is the price. It is a costly weapon, especially early on. The gun is located in Vault 81 and it can be purchased from Alexis Combes. To be able to get into the Vault, the player will need to either pass a Speech check or complete a small quest to get inside.

Once inside, simply head down the elevator and purchase the Overseer's Guardian from Alexis. The price will vary depending on the player's perks, but it will still be quite a costly weapon.

This weapon has a two-shot effect, meaning that it fires two bullets every time the trigger is pulled. As mentioned, the Overseer's Guardian is a highly customizable weapon, meaning that it can be changed from an automatic sniper to a single-shot weapon at a Workbench. Its ammo type can also be changed, making it easier to use for those with limited ammo.

The Harvester is a unique variant of the Ripper. It was brought into the game with the Far Harbor DLC. While the weapon is pretty easy to get, it is also pretty easy to miss. There are a lot of players out there who have played the Far Harbor DLC and walked right past this weapon.

To get this weapon, players need to head to Echo Lake Lumbar in Far Harbor. Once there, they will be greeted by lots and lots of Ghouls. Once the Ghouls have been taken care of, playes can make their way to the top floor of the destroyed building, where they will have to either pick an advanced lock or hop over a wall with a large hole in it on the lower level. After players make their way into the room on the top floor, they will need to search the Red Steamer Trunk. Inside the trunk will be The Harvester.

This weapon is incredibly overpowered. It has a chance to stagger an enemy with every hit. Since this is an automatic melee weapon, it will almost constantly stagger enemies. If an enemy is staggered, it can't attack, making most enemies pretty much useless when trying to fight against this weapon.

The Spray N' Pray is one of the best weapons in all of Fallout 4. It is powerful, its ammo is plentiful, and it is really fun to use. Getting this weapon is easy, but with that said, it does involve a little bit of luck.

The gun can be purchased from Cricket. Cricket is a traveling merchant based in Bunker Hill. Since she travels around the map, it can be tricky to track her down, but the best way to find her is just to hang around Bunker Hill until she shows up.

The Spray N' Pray does a great deal of damage. This is because it has an explosive effect, and has a very high rate of fire. It can also be modified at a weapons Workbench to make it even more powerful. The Spray N' Pray is a very overpowered weapon and is definitely worth having in any player's arsenal.

Fallout: New Vegas has a bunch of unique weapons throughout the world that can easily be missed. This guide is here to help you find the weapons of the wasteland that are very rare -- and often very powerful -- to will help you on your adventure!

The Abilene Kid LE BB gun is a unique BB gun. It can be found in Fields Shack on the shelf to the far left corner of the house. If you have the Wild Wasteland trait from the beginning of the game on, it will be located in Jimmy's Well, which is just outside of Fields Shack. If you have Rex the cyber dog, and you talk to him with the Wild Wasteland Trait, he might start howling and eventually he will mark Jimmy's Well on the map for you. You get a variety of guesses to figure out what's wrong, but the correct one is that someone fell down a well, which is a reference to Lassie. Fields Shack is located between Nellis Airforce Base and New Vegas Medical clinic, if your having difficulty, it's North East from the clinic, and South west of the airforce base. It's on the road to and from the Airforce base, you should see a guy named George, warning you about the Boomers and their artillery guns. Submitted by gamerzgod123.
