PREEA Update: Election Results and Monday Happy Hour

Hi PREEA XCOM,

Congratulations on finishing up the last week of classes!  And congratulations to our new XCOM Officers!  New officers are listed below:

President – Jessica Jagmin Brookins (MSFS 2015)

Vice President – Nare Tevanyan (CERES 2015)

Public Relations and Outreach Director – Risa Chubinsky (CERES 2015)

Secretary – Henry Shepherd (MSFS 2015)

Before emailing the results out to everyone in PREEA, I wanted to touch base on a few items:

1.  New Member of the Team

Everybody say hi to Nare, our new VP!  I've added her to this Google Group for future coordination.

2.  Open Slots

We still have some openings on the XCOM to fill.  We'll have to come to agreement on how to fill these.

Treasurer: Steve, I think you mentioned that you might be interested in filling this slot.  If so, let us know.

Logistics Director: Nobody ran for this slot.

Information Officer: Nobody ran for this slot.

3.  Happy Hour on Monday

To officially welcome the officers to their new roles and start batting around ideas for next semester, we will hold a happy hour this coming Monday (Dec. 9) starting at 5:30.  I haven't heard any suggestions as to a location, so I'm going to  propose Bier Baron near Dupont.  Please let me know if there are any objections to this before I send out a note to PREEA members tomorrow (Sunday).

Hi Team,

Grace and I talked earlier about the happy hour and concluded that tomorrow might not be as good of a day for happy hour as originally thought, given how busy it sounds like folks are with finals.  As you'll see in the message that just went out to PREEA, I've announced that we'll instead hold a happy hour in the new semester.  Hope to see you all around on campus during finals!  Good luck!
