Dear PREEA Team,

Happy new year!!!  I hope you all had a good break. 

As I think I mentioned in December, I would like to set up a time for outgoing and newly elected PREEA XCOM members to meet so that the outgoing team can brief the new team on operations and answer any questions.  Please take a look at the doodle below and fill in your availability so we can set up a meeting time.

To assist with the transition, Grace, Gary and I are putting together an operations manual that will include online account login info, financial information, points of contact, and other useful information.  That manual should be ready shortly.  We will also provide you with a few other useful documents.

Also, please note the announcement in today's GSO email that funding requests for spring semester events are due at the end of next week on Friday, January 17, at 5:00 PM.

Dear All,

Thank you for filling in the Doodle.  The results show that tomorrow (Thursday) at 1:00 is the time when we can get the most people together all at the same time.  So for those who are around, let's meet tomorrow at 1:00 on the 2nd floor of the library, which should have plenty of space this early in the semester.

Sorry for a stream of messages, but one more item to be aware of sooner rather than later: new officers have to attend one of the "blueprint" training sessions listed below (next Wed or Thurs - this was buried in the recent GSO email).  The training is required by the University, and it's particularly important for the two officers (generally President and Treasurer) who will be authorized users of the University's debit cards for PREEA-related purchases.
