We have an old successful install of predicition.io. We'd like to make it current and have upgraded predicition.io as per the upgrade documentation.
We're using the Universal Recommender template and see that it has multiple versions.
How do we know which Universal Recommender template version we're using. And are there instructions on how to upgrade the Universal Recommender template?
Thanks!

Look at the version number of jars in /path/to/universal/recommender/target/scala_2.10/ To upgrade pull the latest master for released code or the highest numbered branch for any work in progress.

I suggest you pull source from the root github repo here: https://github.com/actionml/template-scala-parallel-universal-recommendation The master is at v0.2.3 but v0.3.0 will be released in a few days. This will require a pio upgrade to v0.9.6 here: https://github.com/actionml/PredictionIO which will be released in sync. Not sure when the new pio version will be upgraded on the pio site.
