the error you get has nothing to do with the coloring itself. I don't have that sample code you are looking at right here but my guess is that you have to double check that the referenced dll's in the visual studio project are pointing to the Navisworks files on your PC. If the sample code for instance was created using Navisworks Manage 2015 and you are running Navisworks Simulate 2020 then the sample code might still work, but you need to go though and check that all the references to Navisworks dll's are setup correctly. This type of csharp task you don't learn from a Navisworks forum - it is more a general csharp skill.
I have tested dll file reference in other situation and there was no problems and it worked fine but for this code i dont know what was the problem.i am running navisworks manage 2018 and visual studio 2015.do you think this is the problem?
