Is this project still active and does it work with Google Apps?

I just installed precipitate and noticed that the last post was last
November. I also didn't see any mention of working with Google
Apps.

So, does it still an active project and does it support Google Apps?

Depends what you mean by "active", I guess ;) I haven't added any new
features or sources in a while, but only because I haven't had much
time. I'll definitely fix any new issues that are discovered, and will
be releasing an update for improved Snow Leopard compatibility
sometime before that ships.

Yep, always has. A few people have reported issues logging in to
Google Apps For Your Domain accounts, but I was never able to
reproduce that or get enough follow-up information to investigate
further. If it doesn't work for you, please file a bug.

works fine for me although i often forget its there and assume i have
to go to docs/apps on the web and search. nice to have. great
potential remains for google apps integration.
