In the last seven years, he has barely missed a morning. Rain or shine, snow or sleet, Barber is there at Ogunquit beach to welcome the sun. Even when he goes on vacation, he simply gets up early and takes pictures of the sun in other locations. Though he admits, Ogunquit beach is his favorite spot.
Several years ago he started sharing his pictures online, tweeting them at local weathermen and reporters he has met. He was surprised as anyone to see his pictures and videos of sunrises being shared on the news in Maine and occasionally by NECN in Boston and the Weather Channel.
Vanilla, Shake, Cayleb, Ernesta, Jacob, Jeff and Magic are some of the last of over 400 animals to be rehomed after the unaccredited refuge Wildlife Waystation in Sylmar went out of business in 2019 under threats of wildfires. The seven chimps, retired from research labs and the entertainment industry, were flown by FedEx for free from Los Angeles to Orlando via Memphis and transported in a climate-controlled truck donated by Pero Family Farms to the island sanctuary Save the Chimps.
The students face charges including reckless endangerment, firing woods or prairies and illegal use of a firework. Six of the seven students were juveniles. The seventh, Samuel Fitzwilliams was charged as an adult.

And nautical twilight is when they can first make it out and can take their readings. Nautical twilight brightens into civil twilight when the sun is 6 below the horizon. Civil twilight is when the world becomes bright enough to be able to get around without any additional light.
