Flexi 8.1 Software Install

My Vinyl Express 24 Cut died. I purchased a used MODEL KI-720 that came with Signmaster V3.5 Software. I have FlexiSign Pro 10.5. I would like to be able to install that cutter to used the Flexi software design and cut since I use it a lot and if familiar with its functions. Also I can't get the Signmaster program to deactivate so I can activate it. Its shows my PC and the as Product registered to in the about screen. ? Can anyone Help? TIA
Hello, we have 2 XG550's in an A/P HA cluster running v17.5 MR12. We've got some new Flexi modules to install but according to the instructions it requires the units to be powered down. On top of that, HA requires similar hardware, making it seem like you have to install the modules all at once.
However this is for UTM, and there are some contradictory statements in there too. We've got 24x7 departments so the goal is to minimize disruptions. Can this be done with no downtime or HA "going crazy" as stated in the forum post above?
You could try, to break HA, install the modules in the Slave Node, put a backup of the Master (not in HA) in the Slave, shutdown the MASTER, connect the Slave, perform the same steps in the Master (Except putting the backup again), disconnect the Slave, Connect the MASTER, factory reset the SLAVE, re-join HA. But I think this method might take longer.
i bought a copy of flexi starter 10 off ebay and received it today and i plug the key up and then it says put a disk in. when i do it searches but it say it can't install because it can't find corrert software. what do i need to do? Did i get ripped? can i download a driver? any help would be appreciated also i have a flexi password and user id that came with the disk
You must first install the software per the instructions. You don't put the USB dongle in, until you have installed the software and your password. Your USB dongle is your security for your password. The USB dongle is the LAST thing you install.
Go to start on your computer, > My computer, and click the cd/ dvd drive and install it.. If the dvd doesn't work then contact SAI tech support. It's on your paperwork.. Make sure your cd/dvd drive works and the dvd is clean and no scratches. Shouldn't have any if new.
Does it have the Green Flexi 10 label on it? You can contact SAI on the weekends, they have great tech support. Wash the disc and wipe dry.. does it look scratched up? SAI may be able to give you a downoad link, it you provide your user ID..
I have gotten email support on the weekends. They are world wide. Not much any one else can do without the software installed.. If you don't want it, contact your seller and tell them it doesn't work, Have you tried seeing if the disc will work in another computer? such as a friend?.
i really appreciate all your help. seems like you are a veteran. is flexi starter 10 good, bad, ok? all i have messed with is signblazer which isn't terrible but its free and sure cuts alot pro which came with my cutter. which is the best in your opinion? a guy that i know is gonna give me corel draw or something like that if he can find the disk give me your opinion on that also if you don;t mind

sorry guy i called the support line for SAi and they dont even help support Flexi Starter 10, they say call the seller. I called and he sent me a email to download the disk but it didn't work correctly. So he is sending me a new disk and hopefully that will work!
Skeeter - I know you watch this closer than I have - I only see flexistarter sold thru one retailer for $245 and one person on ebay selling it for $395 . . . any idea why the price went up so much on starter and why so few are selling it - heck even uscutter doesn't have starter anymore
If you have lost the FlexiPDF installation file, you can download it again here. This is the trial version which can be unlocked by choosing the command ? Purchase and unlock and entering your product key.
If FlexiPDF does not start and instead shows that DLLs like VCRUNTIME140.DLL, MSVCP140.DLL, etc. cannot be found, your Windows installation misses some system files. Download an installer for these system files here and run it.
Answer: When you install FlexiPDF, a special printer driver for creating PDF files is installed in Microsoft Windows. The FlexiPDF setup program adds the program PrintDisp.exe to the list of Startup Apps and sets its status to Enabled. Unfortunately, some antivirus programs and system-optimization software set the status to Disabled, which prevents the FlexiPDF printer driver from working.
When installation is complete, the file settings.inf in the folder of the installer has recorded all of the choices you made during the install, such as printer driver installation, shortcuts, etc.
You can check if the reason is 1. or 2. by viewing the PDF using the View Placeholders command. In placeholder mode, real text remains solid. All images become boxes with a diagonal cross and illustrations are shown as blue outlines. To check for 3., click the text using the Object tool. If it is locked, FlexiPDF will ask you if you want to unlock it.
You are viewing the PDFs in placeholder mode. This mode is toggled using the command View Placeholders. It can be quicker to work in placeholder mode with complex PDFs, since FlexiPDF does not have to spend time drawing large images and complex graphics. It does not affect the way the PDF appears in other viewers.
This is probably caused by the security restrictions of the document being viewed. Choose the command Document Security and check the access restrictions for the document. You may need to obtain a password in order to unlock the document.
Clipping paths are used in the PDF file format to hide parts of images (and sometimes text). They are normally invisible. As they can affect the way you edit text and graphics, FlexiPDF shows you where they are by outlining them in pink. When you save your document, the clipping paths will once again be invisible. To find out more about clipping paths, read the chapter "Removing a clipping mask" in the user manual.
When Google Chrome prints a web page, it doesn't send letters and fonts, but images of the letters. If you create a PDF file by printing to FlexiPDF, the text of the resulting PDF file cannot be edited.
Upon completing these two simple steps, flexiWAN is installed and flexiEdge is running. Next step is to run fwsystem_checker utility to fix software configuration issues and prepare the system for flexiEdge operation.
