Colin Arthur Dionne, 1971 - 2011. His sudden and tragic death is a huge loss to his wife, Christie, his sister, Sabrina, extended family, the Powell River and BC climbing communities and innumerable friends and colleagues.

Colin was a man with a joyful zest for life; an explorer, a teacher, a mentor to all who knew him. He possessed many admirable qualities - technical skills, courage, composure, and the undeniable ability to see the truth. He held deep love, admiration and compassion for his wife and soulmate, Christie, treasuring her as the greatest blessing in his life.

He will be truly missed but not forgotten.

His spirit will carry on as the light for others who have devoted themselves to the mountains.

There will be a casual gathering to honour Colin Dionne, and share our love and memories. At Stillwater, above the bluffs, on August 27, 2011, at 2 pm.
Following the gathering Sabrina (Colin's sister) opens her home to friends, family, and anyone who wishes to celebrate Colin's life. 14957 Hwy 101, Saltery Bay.
