Eventually, in sha Allah, we will have a whole lot of jamat on this
site. When that happens, the site will take longer to load.
But people -- most people -- will only occasionally want to marvel at
the sight of all those jamat.
Those people will probably limit their interest to a specific
geographic region -- probably their own city or zip code. And maybe
just a few specific jamat.
Assuming for now that the jamat they want are all on the site, it would
be great if we could let them create a set of those jamat such that
those jamat were the only ones that loaded when they visited the site.
They could choose that list by specifying parameters like zip codes,
etc., or just by clicking on the jamat themselves (after indicating
they were choosing a set of jamat).
Much reduced load times.
Much more personal site experience.
If/when we do this, then I recommend the following, too, any jamat
added after they create their list that fall within the bounds of the
polygon created by their data points would be offered to the user on
his or her next visit. The user could decline all of them at once, or
go through the list. Declining future offers might be appreciated, but
would not be recommended.
And of course, the user would need the options to edit their set(s) of
jamat and to view all the jamat, at once, too.
