Salaam Alaikum,
I have been trying to update the mappings you have for NYC and
surrounding areas. I seem to have a problem
adding a location, everytime I press "Bismillah" nothing happens?
Advice?
Jazzak Allah Khair !!

وعليكم السلام Wa alaykumus salam, Imtiaz!
InshaAllah, all is well with you and Tayybah.
If you have corrections to existing markers, you do not want to use
the Bismillah feature. Tell me which markers (try to give me the
intersections displayed on the map, please) need to move, and tell me
where they should be instead. I am working on a method to let people
edit the jamat info, but one problem has been making sure a copy of
the old info is saved in case of mistakes by the editor.
When you click on "Bismillah" -- the button under the map, not the
Arabic at the top left of the page -- nothing will happen until you
click on the spot where you want to add a jamat.
Say a jamat has started in Times Square -- it could happen :) -- you
display Times Square on the map. Then you click Bismillah. Then you
click on the spot where the jamat meets. On the map itself a dialog
box will open to take you through the rest of the steps.
Several people have asked for a more immediate response when they
click Bismillah, but so far programming that response has eluded me.
The code is open source, alhamdolillah, so if you know someone who
could fix that bug, for example, by making the dialog box open in the
center of the displayed map area, then that would be most appreciated.
Jazak Allah khayr for your help!

The web site has been updated so that the Bismillah button is better
explained.
