I take immense pleasure to inform you that HMV Institute of Management Accounting and Taxation ( A Unit of HMV Educational Society), in coordination and consultation with the Members of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, who are practicing Chartered accountants and are also involved in Teaching activities, is commencing “Advanced Certificate course in Practical Accounting and Taxation ” from 18^th Nov 2013 at HMV Premises, Vidyanagar, Hyderabad. The duration of course is for about 2 months and he classes will be conducted everyday, except on Sundays.

Today’s Accountant should have following Skills:

·         Understanding Transactions.

·         Accounting of Transactions

·         Accounting under computerized environment & generation of reports

·         Coordination with Auditors, Tax consultants for Finalization of accounts.

·         Filing of Documents and maintenance of records.

·         Filling of Statutory Forms & filing the same with respective authorities

·         Banking Skills

·         Communication Skills and so on

 

The main objective of course is to ensure that a person trained at HMV is well versed with Accounting functions, having working knowledge of statutory obligations under TDS, VAT, Service Tax, Professional Tax, and should be able to do accounting function under fast growing technology era, so that the market can get full fledged accountants who can be adapted in any top organization very easily

 

Course Contents include Basic Accounting, Computerized Accounting (Accounting Packages- Tally, Wings, and Focus), Reading of Invoices, generation of reports, statutory filings, co-ordination with Auditors, Filing of records etc.

The Training methodology will include Practical training on Packages on computers, Group discussion, Lectures by experienced Chartered Accountants and Examination.

A commerce students who is at least in the second Year of B.Com, Article trainees, persons who are serving as accountants are eligible to join the course. The numbers of admissions will be restricted to 40 students on first come first served basis. Majority of the classes will be taken by Practicing Chartered Accountants who are also involved in teaching, as they have knowledge of market requirements of accountant.

The Certificate would be awarded to the participants on fulfillment of criteria by HMV Institute of Management Accounting and Taxation ( A Unit of HMV Educational Society).

The fee for the course is Rs.5000/-
