is there a way to obtain the cursor's current x-Position?

Greetings

This is almost impossible to do with PDF generally. What are you
trying to do? We can help you determine the right approach.

Well, basically, I am trying to create a product catalogue consisting two columns. Each column lists about five to seven products with name of the product and some description. What I'd like to achieve is to have an image for each product at the height of the respective product name on the left hand side of the column.

So I was thinking I could obtain the position of the location of the product name and then position the image relative to that location.

No good?

I just noticed that ColumnBox actually provides the x-Positions of the left and right edge. That, of course, is sufficient. I should have checked for that before posting my question.

Sorry about that and thanks for your reply.
