I'm trying to do some scripting that reads, analyzes, and reformats pdfs to identify and remove duplication. Is PDF-Inspector a good tool for this? I was trying to use it from the command line but had no success.

Thanks for any help!

PDF::Inspector is really only a testing tool for digging into PDF
documents and verifying certain things about their structure. What you
want to do can probably be accomplished with PDF::Reader, but it's a
very low-level tool.
