In Through the Looking-Glass, Humpty Dumpty is wearing a cravat and he tells Alice that it was given to him as an "un-birthday present" by the White King and Queen. The idea of the un-birthday connotes that we should celebrate every day of the year rather than only our birth day.
In a similar vein, we feel that we should be celebrating politics by participating in it every day of our lives rather than on Election Day.
Besides Elections & representing the logic of democracy , more important is the Governance aspect of politics and it is critical that the youth of this country engage with governance.
We have take this process a step further in collaboration with partner organizations and engage a lot more young people in these learning discussions to present the world view of youth to the political parties with a genuine attempt to influence party manifestos for the upcoming Delhi and Lok Sabha elections by reaching out to different political figures at the appropriate points during the campaign..
We hope to bring all these streams of Refl-action together in a large confluence in a big
UN-MANIFESTO
making event.
We also plan to felicitate the journeys of 90 young volunteers who went through SMILE In-turn-ship in this academic session through our much celebrated
JASHN - E -AGHAZ !!
Your presence is much required as this is a space where we would be celebrating youth and their voices and your support will only make it a much more memorable one for them..
