शून्य छाया दिवस (Zero shadow day)

· शून्य छाया दिवस (Zero shadow day) एक ऐसा खास दिवस है, जिस दिन मध्यान्ह (noon time) के वक़्त किसी भी vertical (खड़ी) वस्तु की छाया ठीक उसके तल में होती है (exact downside-vertical) जिस कारण हम उसे देख नही पातें. हर एक साल में ऐसा दिवस दो बार आता हैं.

· जिस दिन सूरज की क्रांती (declination) ठीक उस जगह के अक्षांश (latitude) जितनी हो वो ही दिन उस जगह के लिये शून्य छाया दिवस होता है.

Declination = Latitude       ---à Zero shadow day

· यह खास अनुभव सिर्फ कर्कवृत्त (The Tropic of Cancer) और मकरवृत्त (The Tropic of Capricorn) के बीचमें रहनेवाले लोग ही कर सकते हैं.

· आप नीचे दी गई लिंक पर आपके यहां शून्य छाया दिवस कब होगा और मध्यान्ह का समय (noon time) कब है ये देख सकते हो.
