RECENT NOTIFICATION FROM HUDA

Please see the attachment circulated by GFWA. 

This is a copy of the notification dated 05.03.2012 by HUDA indicating that the cut-off date for rescheduling of installments and charging of interest on enhanced EDC is to be taken from 25.05.2011 instead of 10.01.2009.

Though this is applicable generally to most developers, however, in case of PCL it would apply post 31st December 2011 as, the demand notice was dispatched by DGT&CP to PCL On 30.12.2011 by ordinary post.Therefore, PCL could request the DGT&CP accordingly so that further waiver of interest for the period between 25.05.2011 to 31.01.2011 is granted by DGT&CP. This needs to be flagged with PCL.

Friends Hi. After the pressure has been mounted on DGTCP by the GFWA,there has been an some positive outcome for the same. The interest has been withdrawn,on enhanced EDC, for the period of 29 months i.e. for the period 10.01.2009 To 25.05.2011. The official circular is attached herewith. As per the tentative calculations made by one of the member of GFWA,in terms of amount being benefitted to two different categories,as follows: 1.High Rise Flat owner:Benefit as Rs 40/ per sq ft 2.Plot owner:Benefit as Rs 294/per Sq yds. All those members who have already paid the enhanced EDC are supposed to demand an amount equivalent as per the nature of their unit by way of showing the Copy of the circular to the concerned coloniser.
