Important Message - Prajna Homework Log

In an effort to streamline processes and centralize structure across Bay Area  locations, we have designed a homework log that would be used by all teachers and all centers starting the weekend of Jan 28th, 2011. This log has been customized for the rest of the Prajna school year. 

The log has columns for slokam homework, bhajan homework and workbook homework. Each week teachers will enter homework in appropriate columns and students will practice / complete HW on each day of the week. Parents will put their initials on days children have practiced. Children bring back the log next week to the class where they will get a sticker for the days they have done their HW. An added incentive could be that child with maximum number of stickers gets a prize at the end of the year.

Purpose of this log is multi fold -

1) It will help keep track of homework being assigned to students on a weekly basis. 

2) It will motivate children to do their HW each day in hopes of getting a sticker (or a prize at the end)

3) It will increase parent participation in Prajna

Please communicate this information to parents. You might also want to place this log in a folder when you hand it over to the parents/children.
