Dear Prajna Teachers,
please forward this mail to all skit performers.
The date for the skit competitions - April 17th. Sat. Time - 5-9pm
suggestion: to all skit organizers. The Mike system is always problem for the skits.
So you can record the dialogues with the kids voices only, they act for the recorded dialogues..
if you can sync the action with dialogues, skit presentation will be perfect..
Families of performers can bring one food item per center to share with all.
Apporx . 100 - 120 persons
1. Borden town - parents - Any juices - 8 liters
2. Edison - parents - Any juices - 8 liters
3. Jeeyar Asramam - Parents - pasta - 2 large trays
4. Malrton - Parents - corn chips or any - 6 large bags
5. Paramus - Parents - Curd Rice. - 2 large trays
6. Parcepany - Parents - Any sweets or cookies -
Please inform us if any of the centers cannot make it.
The skit performance by the alphabetical order.
see above for the names centers.
Schedule:-- 5 - 5.30 - refreshments.
First skit start at 5.30 - 5.45 - by Bordentown and followed by all the centers with alpha order.
Duration of Skit is under 15 minutes. Starting and finishing time will be recorded.
These are the following criteria for judging the skits.
Since these are all mythological skits, costumes should be considered for effect.
1. Clarity in diction/speech - if recorded, all the actors must use their own voices in the recording.
2 Confidence and using the stage effectively.
3 Costume
4 Storyline
5 Overall effect.
6. skit finishing within the time limit.
7. discipline of the performers - entering and leaving the stage.
Both the judges will be given all the categories for each skit.
Each Category 10 points, after we add the overall points we will have score out of 100 points.
We can pick the best 3 or 5 depending on the quality of the performances.
