Big Pine Paddling Trip to Be Sunday June 14 Leave Rich's Restaurant in Ogden,IL. at 9AM

To All,    After reading all river gauges in the area and finding them to all be flooded. We have decided to wait till Sunday and paddle Big Pine Creek at Rainsville,IN. Even Big Pine is high but should be at a good level for most of us on Sunday.  No beginners please!  We will put in at Rainsville and paddle 8 miles to our take out at Twin Bridges. You must be able to control your boat in any situation including sudden stops and fast turns. Call us by 7 AM Sun. if you need a boat. For those with their own boats, it would be a great time to bring a spray skirt. Should be good weather with temps in the seventies, but the water will still be cool. Dress for that and bring whatever you need to drink and eat. We haven't been there in a couple of years so lets go and enjoy.      We hope to see some of you at Rich's Sunday.               Mike & Anja Metz
